I was all dreadmilled out, so I tried a few new machines today. My gym has so many choices, I was a bit overwhelmed, but I just started testing a few. Then I found this awesome machine! It's an elliptical that has an "adjustable crossramp". I was actually able to set the leg workout on a low setting, while still having the resistance on a high setting for challenging cardio. My HR soared into the 150s with seemingly little effort! I think the "crossramp technology" controls the incline, while a separate control controls resistance. Or something like that. I looked at the model and it was a Precor EFX. What a great little machine. It also fit my body much better than half a dozen other machines. I did 45 mins. and felt like I could do another 45, no problem.
Is this a new addition to the old elliptical technology, or have I just not been paying attention?
