Tricep question

Hello out there in Cathe-land,

So, you know that part of your tricep, sometimes called the bye-bye jiggle, the granny-flab, that part of your arm that keeps on waving after you've stopped moving your arm?

Two of my tricep muscles are pretty toned,:p but the above mentioned muscle is really difficult to tighten up. What specific exercises can I do to tone that stubborn hold-out??

Thanks!
Pam

I hope someone knows this answer, because I have been working at getting rid of those stubborn bat wings for over two years . I don't have much fat anywhere so I don't know why it still hangs on. I have very toned muscles underneath. I started kick boxing with weighted gloves. ( hoping that will help). This is really my last problem area. But it is also the most stubborn!!!! Linda

Well, I think what you are actually asking is how to lose fat in that area, not how to build muscle there (which you probably have down, given that you do Cathe). Unfortunately, you can't choose where you lose or gain fat - where your body likes to store its fat is up to it. However, if you lose body fat in general, eventually you will lose it there as well. You just might have to get pretty low in body fat to lose fat in an area where your body doesn't really want you to. All things considered, it might be easier to just come to terms with your "Hi Helens" and celebrate those parts of your body you do enjoy.

Okay, so we've got:
Bye-Bye Jiggle
Granny-Flab
Bat Wings
Hi Helens

I wanna hear them all . . . Who's got another?

BTW, when I was a teenager I played clarinet in a park band (in the band shell), and the conductor would wear short sleeves for rehearsal. Man, his flappers kept their own time!
