Hi!

Saw your post to Cathe about that crazy thread! Wow, what love huh? Anyway, I wondered if you received your IS series yet and if so, what you thought of it. You see, my husband has worked out to Cathe's PS and SH like religion. He, allot like you, is tall and lean...6'2" and 175 dripping wet. He really doesn't care to turn into some muscle head and really enjoys the look Cathe has helped him to achieve. He is in the best shape of his life and he wansn't unfit to begin with!

I just think it's great that you post here. I wish more men would. I have a feeling that Cathe has an underground male following ;-).

Hi Debbie!
I was just messing with Cathe. She is a good sport and I like to lighten things up for her sometimes when I see a post like that one. Cathe kills herself for us and I think sometimes it's nice to let her know how much we appreciate and love her. Having been a fan of pro athletes thru the years as I was growing up I really appreciate the accessibility she allows her fans to have with her. I gotta tell ya, it's very rare to find a genuinely nice, caring athlete/celeb like Cathe.
I have not purchased any "newer" Cathe tapes in awhile. I still do IMAX, Bodymax, and some of the other older ones. I don't think I work out to tapes as much as alot of people on this site so the older stuff is still fresh to me. I switch Cathe's tapes in and out of my routine along with cardio machines and spinning at the gym, and outdoor activities like mountain biking and blading. I am very focused right now on weight training at the health club where I am a member. I have been pyramiding recently and just switched back to sets of 3 with reps of 12, 10, and 8. I switch weight routines perhaps every 4-6 weeks. As you can see I like variety and it is giving me great results.
Man, 6-2 and 175? Your hubby is quite light. I am 6'0 and 172 currently. I want to get to 185. During my annual physical on Thurs. my doctor told me 175 is optimum and 190 is max for me based on my BMI. I feel I look better at 185 so I am shooting for that. I have to eat a ton though to pack weight on since I am so active. He did tell me my resting heart rate is 54, which is the lowest I have ever been measured. All of those intervals I do must be working! Now I am waiting on my bloodwork. :)
Very nice hearing from you Debbie! :)

Hi Trevor,

Boy, I can't agree with you more about Cathe and the relationship she has with us. She has made us feel ultimately important and like friends. Very unusual in business these days.
I really think that we are a part of something very special. The people on this forum ( even with the occasional weird thread) I believe, is all part of Cathe's magic. I really think she is FULLY aware of this from a human/business standpoint. Very smart lady, with an awful lot of heart and common sense. Love that!

Now, I'm kind of surprised, I thought you worked out to more of Cathe's tapes. I do understand the need to go to the gym. My hubby is maxing quickly on allot of exercises doing them with free weights...especially at Cathes PS tempo. SH has offered him the needed time to up his weight safely. He has added severel inches to his upper body with this series...very KEWL indeed. He may also have to hit the gym for the added safety, since I really can't spot him very well. He is really looking forward to the Boot Camp workout..for a cross training to his running. He is a ski patrol on weekends also. I am hoping to get him into a spin class with me soon.

Speaking of spinning...I think I'd much rather run 8 mi. than do a spin class!! I think it's because it is so isolating...anyway, I hurt myself in kickbox last Thursday ( mid-glute nerve thingy) and couldn't run or kickbox. Enter SPIN class. Let's just say, I'm sore, challenged and have dropped a couple of pounds and an inche in my lower body!!!!!! Wild huh? Thought I'd share that with you. Think I'll add spin to my cross training what do you think?

Will you look at the length of this reply...tooo much espresso and dark chocolate. Sorry, and thanks for the reply Trevor!

Hey Deb!
I definitely think you should add spin to your crosstraining. I love it and the instructors mix it up real well.
At some point I wanna add more Cathe vids into my program but my problem is finding time for everything I love to do. Another is that my 2 yr old is after me the entire time I am working out and that makes it hard to do much at home.
I used to love kickboxing but I cannot fit it into my schedule right now. Love hitting that bag.
You and hubby sound like you are in great shape. Keep up the great work.
