Hey Marla!
I love working out alone, too, and let my gym membership expire because of it. But, also like you, I decided to rejoin the gym to work heavy legs. I go once a week, do my leg workout and leave. It is actually kind of fun to get out "among the masses" once a week, I have found.
I was also amazed when I, just for kicks, tried out a few upper-body machines I used to do regularly before I knew Cathe and guess what? I had to add plates! And I actually could do that ab thing where you brace your forearms on the pads and swing your legs out in front of you? I used to only be able to do it (before Cathe) with bent knees. Not any more! Anyway, it was encouraging to see how I've improved.
But I would not want to face that place 3 to 5 days a week. I love my one-on-one time with Cathe in my basement.
