Transformation Challenge! 9/22-9/28

Hey Woman! I'm going to email you now :)

Here's what I've been up to fitness-wise. My son will be 14 months tomorrow (awwwww), I've lost all the baby weight + some extra (thank you Cathe! and Lotte Berk). I've really been changing things up, so to speak. Lots of yoga and ballet type workouts, mixed in with kickboxing and Cathe for cardio. I'd LOVE to get in on a new challenge with all of you. It's been a while!

Guess who??? Vicky, what a cute picture of you! Beautiful background too. Thanks for sharing and good for you on losing your baby weight! Janice or Bita~can you share what Floor Burn is? Is it a Firm tape? Also, intensity-wise, how does it compare to, say a Cathe tape? Thanks for any info. BTW you guys, I got the SS and was not too sure about them, but second time thru, I really like them. Thanks for the tips.

Hi All -- I haven't posted all week because I've been so busy at work. I've been very good about my workouts (Yoga, CC2, Abs, etc) but I was just too busy to post. Obviously with all this work, I didn't make it to Seattle but that's the breaks. The proposal did get submitted and I needed every minute to work on it.

Vicky - So nice to hear from you again. I remember your posts from another board right before your son was born. Thanks for sharing he picture. What a handsome litte guy!!!

FS -- I hear 'ya on the housework. I'm really good about keeping things uncluttered but my house has gotten on my last nerve lately. We've lived here about 5 years and walls get scuffed just in the course of life. It drives me crazy. Last weekend I decided I'd had enough and painted the hallway and closet. It took me about 3-4 hours to prep, paint and put things back. I'm not especially fond of painting but it's worth it to me to see those nice unmarked walls. It made my weekend. I was so proud of myself. I'm considering doing my laundry room this weekend, depending on the weather. Looks like this is the year I transform my dwelling as well as myself.

Hey Debbie, can you walk after doing Slim Series???? OUCH!

Tell us aaaaall about it. I really like them.

Talking about Slim Series: this morning, I did Mix it up! I also just ordered resistance bands from Fitness1st at the same time I was ordering the Troy Lite Barbell...with my hubby's blessing! :p

Whew, I hear ya' on the walking afterwards! My inner thigh/groin area was soooo sore! And...my obliques bigtime! I have mainly used Firm It Up (Lower body) and Shape It Up (total body) so far. I want to try the resistant bands one next. Let me know when your Troy arrives. You will be so happy!

LA, great job keeping on your scheduled exercise. You are amazing!

Vicky, great picture! Thanks for sharing. You look fantastic!

Debbie, Floor Burn is a fitprime product with Susan. It's a great floor workout and some yoga and stretch here and there. It is not to the level of difficulty of Cathe's, but it is still good. I love variety anyway! I am going to use my 5lb ankle weights next time to get a tougher workout in.

I did CTX upper body, BTR, and rebounding. Will do leaner legs tomorrow.

RE: Runathon!

Debbie, my abs, inner thighs and quadriceps were so sore! It took me a week and lots of ibuprofen (800 mg 2x a day) to get over it. Plus, I thought I was going to get shin splints after all those lunges and quad and inner thigh work...youch!

BTW, I just added the new black step with the risers to my order! Yikes! I am giving the fucchia/teal colored one to my children (surprise). They all love to do Cathe, even the 1 1/2 year old! I have a photo of him doing Cardio and Weights on the step! He is soooo cute! They are going to loooove having their own step. Now, how do I explain that addition to my hubby????? :D
