Hey everybody! Happy Easter!
I worked 18 hours yesterday – so it was a “rest” day (ha ha).
After church, DH and I hid the eggs for our two youngest sons (the big one is away at college). They were adorable. I put their initials on the eggs. There were 19 eggs for the 3 year old and 19 eggs for the 7 year old. If the 7 year old found one that didn’t have his initial, he had to leave it for the 3 year old. It worked out well! Of course the boys wanted to hide the eggs for their parents. We also went rollerblading at the park. Very crowded there – but we got some great exercise outdoors. So nice after a long winter.
I’m pooped from the rollerblading but may do some weight work tonight after the kids go to bed.
Bita, thanks for the compliment, though I note you never miss a workout!
Robyn, I’d love to hear about the sunrise service at the lake. It sounds phenomenal. I lead singing time for kids 12 and under. Today I brought out plastic Easter eggs. We discussed the meaning of Easter. Each egg had a symbol, “pieces of silver” (dimes), nail, twine, piece of linen, etc. The last one was empty - like the tomb on the third day. Anyway, the kids participated and had such great answers when they opened the egg and attempted to explain the meaning behind the item in the egg.
Gloria, the Bahamas! A cruise is probably the best way to see the Bahamas. You’ll look terrific.
Juli, I’m anxious to hear what you think about T. Webb’s workout. I just bought the Slim Series. When they arrive, I’ll give y’all the scoop.
Sending out hugs to all our other Challengers. Have a great Sunday.:7
