Total Fitness DVDs Spring Sale

That one just come out, I believe :) I saw the clip on Mary's site, love what I am seeing. I love anything with bands :) Looks like a leg fryer too:p I bought SuperModel leg workout when College closed, it's still in shrink wrap:D I do have to play around with that one soon :)

Oh you enablers!

I'll probably round out my KCM collection with LIFT and a couple of the older ones I don't have (Bootcamp, I think? and Cardio Sculpt?).

I'm intrigued by Breathless Body 4. Not sure why since I loathe BB1 (major dread factor), but for some reason Amy's routine in BB4 looks more enjoyable. Also intrigued by Paul and Amy's Double Down...after looking it up, thanks to Belinda! ;)

Why is it that the more expensive DVDs...even when on sale...are the ones that call my name? Sigh.

Tell me about it. I just read a review on Double Down. The reviewer stated she couldn't get through the whole workout, because it was so boring. So, I want to know what you all think about it. I was thinking of buying it. After this review, I am having second thoughts.

I buy from Mary, but I had no idea that you could return DVDs that you don't care for. I've never returned any, and sadly, I do have some DVDs that I am sorry I purchased. Live and learn. Thanks!

I can't go too crazy, I am running out of room.:D

I got
Jenny Ford Unexpected Step I really like her as an alternative to Cathe
Prevention 400 calorie workout
Prevention Fitness Systems 3-2-1 & Belly Thighs 2 disc set
Leslie Sansone 5 day fit workout (recovery time )
Leslie Sansone evening mile plus legs

I only spent 20 $

OMG you guys I tried so hard to resist but couldn't help myself, especially when I e-mailed Mary and said I was hoping to order all 3 Ballet Body DVD's of Leah Sarago (upper/ lower/ total body) but the website was out of stock of the lower body dvd. Can you believe she e-mailed me right away and said she found one more and put on the website for me! Totally not expecting that but what superb customer service. Like I needed 3 more DVD's when I just got 2 Toniques and TA's precision toning LOL!!!:p

Yeah yeah I was going to be strong but I caved -- I got KCM's Muscle Up/Lift 2B Fit and Ilaria's Atletica 4 (I needed to buy something else to get free shipping and have been wanting to try something of hers and this was the cheapest one so... there I go...).

Jamie, how do you like Precision Toning? TA's personality grates on me, but I did just pull out Precision Toning last week and enjoyed it immensely. I did the glute section with 2.5# per ankle, and I was really feeling it the next day. My main rotation these days is very heavy, low rep lifting, and I've been feeling that getting my glutes to fire more effectively will help me add weight to the bar for squats and deadlifts.
Wait, uh oh, does that mean I have to go back to the Total Fitness sale and find barre workouts??

Hi MomInVT,
Precision Toning was my 1st TA workout and I really liked the legs/ butt and ab section - those 40 reps per exercise were killer especially with ankle weights for the glutes - had to take them off half way thru! She gives good instructions in this one - I don't know that I could do the workouts where she doesn't cue though. I like it for a lower energy day when I don't feel I can face Tonique or cardio. I usually do heavy weights too but actually have trouble engaging my glutes properly which is why I thought it was time to switch things up a bit so I can't wait to try the Leah Sarago DVD's. And yes I think you should buy more barre with the sale LOL!

I did one of Jenny's youtube workouts last week and really like her workouts :) I have to go back and see what's on sale :)

Love these workouts. I haven't done them for awhile. But I found the upper body, quite difficult. Gotta pull them out again. Actually I think they were all difficult.

Think I will have to place another order. I want to give TA a try. Like you stated, I need to engage my glutes more. May just give this a go. Thanks for the tip.

You're funny Karen but happy to encourage more spending! I actually found that the Born to Move Tonique DVD has really helped the most with my glute action and I've stuck with Tonique for a month now - that Sylwia is crazy fit. Good to hear the Leah Sarago DVD's are fairly difficult, I can't wait to get them. OK I'm going back to the sales to hunt for more LOL!
Jamie

Karen, what else did you score?
Jamie, OK, now I'm scoping out Tonique -- I like the look of it! It's has a kind of cute-ly old-school vibe, yeah?
