Well, I started running early this year, got injured, stopped running but continued with Cathe KPC and strenght/endurance w/o while having PT, started running again on 6 March and will now do my first 5K race on Sunday 18 April.

And all this because I took Cathe's advice that crosstraining was a good thing.

BTW, it takes me 35 minutes to run 5K, so I probably be the last to finish ;-)))

You will do great!! It feels so good to finish that finish line..

Good luck and let us know how you do!

Dutchie:

sounds great! I'm rooting for ya! What an accomplishment, you have pulled through injury and now are stronger than ever, right? And you also have a new string to your bow......

Good luck,

Clare

Yes you do come back strong from an injury most of the time. I think PT is the best way to go. My running got alot stronger after I started crosstraining. Try not to worry about time...just have fun!....:)...Carole
