Too Thin?

Weight loss

Aha! The weight loss certainly can explain some of the comments. "Could some of them actually mean "you're GETTING too thin, and I'm worried that you might keep on losing weight, because I've seen a lot of Lifetime movies for women about anorexia and bulimia, and there was one on a few weeks ago about exercise addiction"...

RE: Weight loss

Well, in my experience it's jealousy. I mean, don't they say 85% of communication is non-verbal? I don't think these people are concerned I might be anorexic, they're concerned I will show them up even more. This is especially significant because I have no "excuses". I am 43, so they can't say I'm young and will fatten up later. I have had a baby, so they can't say I never did that. I do have a job, so they can't say I have nothing to do all day but hang out at the gym. Etc. Etc. Maybe some of you guys have concerned observers, but mine are as Scarlett O'Hara said "Pea-green with envy."
