To those with bad knees.....

I will probably buy the whole batch, and maybe get rid of the step DVD and the timecrunch DVD after I preview then. That's what I did with the Terminator DVD and IMAX2/Cardio and Weights and I got what I paid for them, so no loss.

I have two bad knees in two different ways: left has no ACL and no medial meniscus, and right has poor patellar tracking. I actually find step easier on my knees than hi-lo because there can be less twisting, and overall less impact. I'm ordering them all, and will modify when I have to. Cathe workouts are too precious not to savor, even if I can't do it all.

I broke both legs as a drunken teenager and one was broken in the knee. It gets sore pretty quickly, so I often do the really tough stuff on a 6" step when I need to, and I rub a lot of anti-inflammatory stuff on my knee (something I picked up in Europe).

I bought the whole enchilada. If I can't do it later, I'll modify. A day of resting my legs fixes most problems, and then I just do upper body that day.

I have bad knees especially the right one; but oh yes I have to buy all of them! I know they will be so good! I just have to use a 6inch step, and if necessary a 4inch step. I'm scared to go back to my doctor in case he tells me not to do step any more. My PT told me step was the worst thing for my knees. But of course I'm still at it!

I'm on the fence here. Right now I am in a rest & recover mode. My cardio is limited to distance walking (no less than 4 miles) riding a semi- recumbent stationary bike and as of today, occaisional swimming.
Hopefully I can return to my first love- stepping.
So, I don't know if I want to spend the money to get the whole series or not.

May God always grant you a sunbeam to warm you... a moonbeam to charm you...& a sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you :)

I'm buying ALL!!! I don't exactly have bad knees, but they CAN get fairly sore when I do a lot of high impact. Hence, the reason I'm dying for Cathe to make a low impact, high intensity tape. :( If I have problems, I'll just modify and/or rest.

I am buying them all! I have found step to not hurt my knees as much as some hi lo stuff. I blew half my ACL once not sure when, but my doctor was shocked that I "didn't notice". I think I did as a teenager playing volleyball.

I do have to modify some of the jumps, I don't jump as high, and I have to use a 6 inch step, higher than that, and my knees get SORE for days, perhaps weeks.

I'm buying them all and will decide how much I can do when they arrive. I find I can do most of her tapes as long as I rotate my cardio and don't do step for all my cardio.
