Hey wanted to tell you that last Thursday as a last resort, I wrote a letter to Escolade Sports, INC, the makers of the SuperStepper Bench..I wrote to Customer Service and cc: the President of the company, stating how disappointed I was that it was so very difficult and darn near impossible to get replacement parts for their products.

I told them that I posted on many fitness boards and had attempted to contact not only them personally, but online fitness retailers and real life retailers to no avail..

Well I got home today and there on my answering machine was a message from the PRESIDENT of the company, asking me to please call him on his direct line. I bet I get a new riser. LOL

I guess perserverance does pay off. :)

I want to thank you again for all your help, it was MUCH apprecited!

That is GREAT, Mindi!! I hope after he hears all you have been through, that he will GIVE you that 4th. riser you NEED! I wish I could have been more help, but it seems like everyone you talk to, wants to pass the problem on to someone else. :-( Sure glad SNM knows what GOOD customer service is all about. Keep me posted. I'll be excited to hear your news!!! :7

Mindi - ask him about MINI-TOPPERS !!!

While you have the PRESIDENT on the line, can you ask them if they have plans to make the mini-topper we're all dying to have? It's the mini-step top that goes on top of stacked risers to give you a taller step for tall box climbs and so on.

I emailed them a while ago asking them if they plan to make them and told them folks were building them and selling them on eBay for > $100 !!!

Ok talked to Mr. Prez today..he informed me that the confusion arose because the SuperStepper Bench is a European product and not very popular here, they don't stock extra risers and few retailers carry them. But I'm getting a riser. YIPPEEE!

So I informed Mr. Prez that it would be in the best interest of his company to stock the US w/this product and promote it and get the mini toppers made because there were a LOT of us who used them simply because we saw them on Cathe videos..and that they're also featured on Karen Voight's website..he was like "No kidding? Really?" I said DUH! Wake up! LOL

So hopefully that'll start the process in motion and the next person will have an easier time getting what they want re: SuperStep!

It was the classic step that made the mini toppers for Cathe's videos, not the super stepper. The classic step would be more adjustable because the risers are only 2" right? I don't own any steps, but i've been following these threads.
