I have them all but have only done one so far, Endurance for Movement with Tracie Long. I would say that they cannot be compared to Cathe. They're entirely different from a Cathe workout.
The TLT's are functional fitness workouts. What they do is work your body on an unstable base, either with a stability ball, one legged work, or gliding on paper plates (I used those slick furniture mover thingy's), pretty much working your whole body with an emphasis on your core. The only equipment used is a stability ball, 3-6 lb squishy medicine balls, 3-10 lb dumbells, and paper plates or rags or furniture mover thingy's.
They're excellent workouts and I think will help to strengthen your body for more rigorous workouts like Cathe. I think they're also good to prepare you for other sports. I can definitely see where they would fit into a freestyle workout.
Again, you can't really compare them to Cathe--that'd be like comparing apples to oranges, but they're good in their own right.
Kathryn is good at explaining things--maybe she'll chime in here.
ETA that I see Kathryn posted--Hi Kathryn!
