TIMESAVERS

Ok, this might seem like a REALLY REALLY RREEAALLYY stupid question, but everyone keeps talking about premixes and timesavers on Cathe's DVDS. I know everyones been talking about them for like ever here, but I don't what they they are??:-( :-( . Please help me and tell me? I love Cathe and everything, but never really new the primixes/ timesavers on her DVDS even though I have so many of them. Again, I know this is probally a REALLY REALLY RREEAALLYY stupid question, but any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

The newer DVD's have premix options which allows for you to do different versions of the workout. I will list some examples---

Imax 2 you can do the entire workout or you can do premix- section 1 - 5 or premix 6 - 10 or you can do premix blast only and i can't remember the other premix.

Muscle Max has various premixes to include upper only and lower only.

The premixes are wonderful because it allows you to change the workout and adapt it to meet your time restraints and needs.
 
Thanks guys! I get it now. Timesavers are options on the DVDS that allow you do do different parts of the workout. At least I don't feel like a TOTAL idiot anymore:p :+ .

Not exactly.

The "Timesaver" DVD is a specific set of 4 workouts that each combine segments from several of the Body Blast workouts (you can look at the DVD list on this site to get a break down). It's actually a DVD made of what would be called "premixes" on other DVD's.

"Premixes" are the alternate workouts available on Cathe's newer DVD's that are 'ready to use' and that put together one or two workouts in a different way from the original, either shorter, longer or about the same length. It's kind of what you could do with a programmable DVD player but the work is already done.

For example, on the Pyramids DVD, there are premix options for "up pyramid only" and "down pyramid onlÿ" for both upper and lower body, and a premix that combines parts of the two workouts for a total body workout (called a "bonus workout" on this disc, but it's just another premix).
 
And not to add any more confusion to the mix, but there are "Timesaver" premixes on the Gym Style DVD's:) that, I think, have you doing only 2 sets of most exercises and cutting out a few others.

I have the Gym Style series, but never paid attention to the Timesaver on them. I guess I'll check it out. Thanks!

The Time Saver/ Premix on Cardio & Weights that is called "Time Saver Compound and Heavy Weights," does it include the abdominal section? Has anyone used it?
