Timesaver or KPC/L&G---which to get?

Hi everyone

Don't think I have posted here before, but I have just rediscovered Cathe and been checking out the forum for a few days. I have the dvd with Power Hour, the Pyramids (which I love) and the Push Pull/Supersets dvd, which I love. I primaruly use Cathe for strength work because I am not that coordinated and can;t handle most of her choreography.

I wanted to buy one more dvd from the new series and am torn between L&G/KPC and the Timesaver. I have borrowed both of them froma friend and still cannot make up my mind. I was primaruly interested in having the KPC disk for the leg workout, but having viewed it, it felt very long and a bit excessive. Now I am thinking I might be just as happy with the shorter version on the Timesaver disk. Does that one feel like a complete workout, or does it feel choppy and patched together? And would I be missing a lot my not having the pre-mixes?

I also have reservations about some of the impact in KPC and am not sure I would do a full-length version of that one either. Again I think I might be justa s happy with the shorter version, but I want to make sure it will feel like a complete workout and not a choppy parts tape. I want to make sure that considering my interests (simple choreography and not deadly impact) the Timesaver does not leave out some vital thing that is included in the full workout.

I guess the benefit of the Timesaver would be that I would still have a leg workout and a kickboxing workout but they would be more manageable, and if I did decide I was ready to explore step again, I would have those options. The advantage of the KPC dvd would be that I would have the option for long workouts that I might one day be interested in and I would still have the shorter premix options. But on the other hand the Timesaver dvd has such a neat format, and strength work too (although i wisht here were premixes on that to mix them all up together).

So I am torn. Which one do you think I should get?

Tough question. While the timesaver will give you more variety, you will not get a long cardio workout if you want one in the future. However, you could just double up on two of the timesaer cardio segments.
The timesaver all leg workout is fine. I've used it as a leg day and been pleased. My legs definaely got enough of a workout.
Still, can't commit to one over the other. Look at how you like to workout and what you already own. Then decide which one fills in the gaps better. Personally, I would buy both if at all possible.
There are so many ways to use them you will never regret your purchase.

Timesaver too. I think you'll end up using it more than KPC. It has more variety (cardio and strength). The leg workout on the Timesaver is great as it is. I love the upper body work too. You may be end up trying step a little at a time. Later on, should you decide to have longer kickboxing, then you can get KPC/LG.
