Timesaver dvd

I dont have a lot of Cathe workouts yet, but I am working on it! I am pretty unfamilar with using her premixes. I have heard a lot of good things about the Timesaver dvd, but I am wondering if you can choose just the upper body strength work, for example? I would love to hear ideas on how to use the premixes, not just for this workout, but others also. You guys have a lot of creative ideas!

The Timesaver DVD is actually a DVD of "premixes". If you use the DVD menu option on your remote, there will be a heading for premixes which will have a list of all the premixes for that DVD. The Timesaver DVD is made up of premixes from all the Body Blast DVDs. The Body Blast DVDs have the most premixes and they're all quite good. If you check on the DVD tab at the top of this page and click on a DVD, there will be a tab for premixes which will list all the premixes for that particular DVD. I use the premixes all the time when I don't have enough time to do the whole workout or if I only want to concentrate on low impact, high impact, etc. She has a lot of timesaver options on the Hardcore series. I like the ones on the Gym Styles. I feel like I can get a good enough workout in half the time.

Specifically for Timesaver, the only way to do all upper body is to manually skip around on the DVD. There is no premix for it and the workout "blender" doesn't allow for choosing segments from different workouts, only within the same workout.

Timesaver is a fun DVD to start with and get acquainted with Cathe. It helped me build up my cardio endurance and learn her choreography. But if you want options for your weight work (upper body one day, lower another day, total body on another), there are better workouts. Muscle Max comes to mind, or Muscle Endurance or the Pyramids.

Timesaver is a good sampler of the Body Blast workouts, I think you'll find that you will eventually want the full workouts. As much as I enjoyed the Timesaver, I like the full workouts better. There is original footage on the Timesaver, but not all that much.
 
So far, I have Muscle Max, Pyramid Upper/Lower, and I just ordered a few others, so I will probably wait on the timesaver. I was just pondering on what to get next! I just got Lowmax, and I am having fun learning it! Thanks for the advice!
