Timesaver DVD

I have the timesaver dvd and I dont use it too often. I do like it Cathe adds some bonus moves that are not on other dvds but I like the CTX series far better!!!!!!!!

Honestly, Timesaver is my only Cathe DVD that gathers dust, I should have saved my money. It's not bad...it's just pales in comparison to CTX and the BodyBlast Series. I guess it could be used as a 'preview' to these workouts if you don't have them but once you expand your Cathe collection, my prediction is that Timesaver will sit on the shelf more than any others.

I really like the Timesaver but then again, I have been challenged with time lately, so I may not be the norm. It is perfect for me during the week when I don't feel that I have the energy after a long day of work to do a full 60 minutes. I look at it like "it's better than nothing!" Also, on days when I want to go the "extra" mile, I will do two back to back for a 1.5 hour workout. So...it can go either way - either a light workout on an exhausting/low energy day, or a super charged back to back extra long workout.

I have had this DVD for over a year, and loved it initially. It then sat amongst the others as my collection of Cathe's DVDs continued to grow. However- I have rediscovered it primarily for the purpose of a 30-40 minute weight circuit. I use it for my light day. From each of the 5 workouts I do the weight segments only, and between each of them I jump rope or do a plyometric exercise for 2 minutes. For legs I take the barbell squats and leg presses from WKT #5. (I also sub the weights on the leg presses with a band.) For abs I use the KPC segment from # 4. It's a great quick workout and hits all the major muscles. ;-)

Since I work two jobs, I don't have a lot of time to do my errands along with exercising. Timesaver DVD and the CTX series has been a great investment in my situation.

I never use Timesaver. The Body Blast workouts have so many great premixes that if I need a shorter cardio workout, I just pick one of the premixes. If I want a shorter cardio/work-one-body-part workout, I'd rather use CTX. I do think Timesaver would be a great intro to Cathe for someone who is new to her.

I purchased Timesaver as my first Cathe DVD. I wanted to see if I could follow her choreography and could handle her workouts. It was a great investment at the time. But once I purchased the rest of the Body Blast Series, I felt I didn't need it anymore and sold it. The only workout I miss on it is the lower body one - it had a nice, shorter version of Legs and Glutes and SJP abs.

I puchased the TimeSaver DVD because we have the Body Blast Series on video and I don't have the option for premixes. I think it's excellent. That whole series rocks!! What I like about the Timesaver is just that. When your short on time, it's perfect. The music is just awesome in that whole series. SJP & KPC are very long videos and it's great that your getting pieces of it in the Timesaver. I put this in my rotation in the middle so I get a lighter week but not completely resting.

Have a great weekend!!!

I love Timesaver!!! I normally run if I need a lot of cardio but to mix things up I pop in timesaver! I have a full-time job and don't have time for hour long step routines and if you ask me that is overkill anyway.

I really enjoy this dvd. It is especially useful when you need a quick and effective workout. The cardio sections are fun and, to me, challenging.. I am an intermediate/advance level exerciser. But some days I am more tired and need a shorter work out. If you do one workout per day, you will pretty much get a full body workout over 6 days. I rotate them, so that I don't get bored and to keep my workouts from plateauing. So, if you need a rotation workout, and are time crunched, I would highly recommend this work out.. Dee:7

Timesaver is a good dvd. However, I'm with the majority here in that it is probably my least used workout.

I just received CTX yesterday and I think it will be a better choice for me as far as shorter workouts are concerned. I tend to lean towards wanting an hour (at least) for a workout so I will use Premixes or mix and match my other Cathe dvds. That way I get exactly the workout that I want!

I'd be more apt to recommend trying a different one!

I enjoy the timesaver DVD. I like the workout blender. Sometimes I do the step portion twice. Sometimes, I just do the step portion and then hop on the treadmill for another 20 or 30 minutes giving me a 40 to 45 minute cardio workout which is about all I have time for. There are days my knees don't feel like doing a 60 minute step routine and that is when the timesaver is a lifesaver.
