Good morning!

I woke up this morning with a headache, my throat was really sore last night, my chest has some phlegm in it, and I'm just tired. BodyMax would have been a miserable experience this morning, so I did Maximum Intensity Strength, instead. This was supposed to be my Saturday workout, but I figured I needed a lower key workout today, so I'll do BodyMax on Saturday, if I'm feeling better by then (I hope so!!). MIS is a very good strength training workout, although the fun-factor is so much lower than her new stuff. I feel really worked out, from head to toe, and my headache has dissipated.

Wendy, here are my suggestions for the rotation, using what you have for substitutions:

Mon - CardioKicks

Tues - "Step, Jump & Pump premix #6: Step & Weights circuit" followed by "Muscle Endurance Upper Body premix" (this will work some of your upper body twice, which would put it on par with the endless and exhaustive sets in CTX upper body). Do either the SJP abs, or the ME abs (or both if you are a glutton for punishment!)

Weds - "Circuit Max" followed by "Legs & Glutes"

Thurs - "Cardio & Weights Timesaver Step Premix", followed by "PUB Chest/Back/Core"

Fri - "Kick, Punch & Crunch" followed by "PUB Shoulders/Triceps/Biceps"

Sat - "Step Blast: Combo 1 & Challenge" followed by "Pyramid Lower Body". Add Cardio & Weights abs, if you want.

Sun - rest/yoga

This last Step Blast combo is not a premix. You can either program your DVD player to play the warm up, combo 1, challenge, and cool-down/stretches, or you can just hit the skip button for combos 2 & 3.

I'm interested in what you think! This looks like a fun rotation that I'll have to remember for the future!

Hi Sandra, I hope you feel better soon.

I did a modified Nov. rotation workout today. The back of my knee is killing me so squats and lunges hurt like the dickens. I did PLB standing only, but with up only on both lunges and squats and I skip the deadlifts. Then because my knee still hurt I only made it through the warm up and 15 or so min. of MIC's step portion. sigh, really lame workout it would seem. Oh well tomorrow is a new day!!:)

Wow, it sounds like such an awesome rotation:7 }( !! You put a lot of thought into this, thank you!!!! I appreciate it:D I am looking forward to trying it out. What week did you say you were going to do this?

How's your throat today? Just a suggestion if you still have the sore throat....if you have or can buy fresh sage leaves, you can boil some water, steep the leaves in the water for about 10-15 minutes and then gargle with the tea. I've done this a few times and each time my sore throat started feeling a lot better within 20 minutes or so and within a few hours it was gone, so it really worked for me!!

DOH!! Yes, of course I was meaning you. I apologize for the mix up. Wendy is interested in doing the rotation, but doesn't need the substitutions, because she just bought all the workouts (lucky, lucky!)

Thanks! I'm going to do it Mon, Nov 22 to Sat, Nov 27. Next week is my Body Blast rotation, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Thank you very much! I will note this. Strangely, I feel like I only have a half-cold, because during the day I feel almost 100%, but in the evenings it creeps back and is worst overnight. My throat was just fine this morning. I'll probably want those sage leaves around 2am tonight!

How did you like the SJP hi/lo?

Oh, very frustrating for you, Annette. But at least you made a good attempt, and that's the best we can all ask of ourselves, isn't it?

Have you gotten your gastrointestinal situation under control? It sounded like you were making some progress.

Hi Sandra,

I am still experimenting with the gastro problems. I have a problem with sugar alcohols and peanut butter for sure, I am still waiting (for a good day) to experiment with dairy and soy by themselves. Needs to be a day where I don't have to go anywhere because I could get really bad cramps if they are a source of my problem. I will test them soon, I hope. Thanks for asking:)
 
LOL!! Don't worry about it, I do the same thing myself more often than I would care to admit:+ !!!

I am actually going to try this rotation this coming week as I won't be going to the gym next week because my regular instructor won't be there (i don't really like many of those subs and doubt they could give me a half decent workout!!)so this will give me a chance to do the entire week w/out thinking about my 2 gym nights. If I really like it, which I really think I will, I'll continue it into the following week.

I'm telling you those sage leaves have saved my poor throat more than once. They are powerfully anti-bacterial and anti-infective so just remember them if you feel that pain again!! Glad you are feeling better though:)

No, havent' tried it yet as i'm still at work and right now there is now way on God's green earth I can wake up that early to do a Cathe workout and not kill myself (i get up around 5am and have been known to almost walk into walls upon rising so that wouldn't be a very good idea!!) I am doing it as soon as I get home and will let you know how I like it!

Sandra and Sandy - I'm looking forward to doing this rotation with the two of you. The only problem is I am doing a modified Cathe's November Rotation right now so I haven't decided yet if I will cut it short by a week or just do that rotation the following week-it just looks awesome!

Annette- Take care of yourself-I can't imagine how frustrating that all (knee, GI)must bex(

Last night I did the entire MIC. Today I did KPC- but only had time for the 51 minute premix.

Also, since I just got S&H I had to buy more weights for my barbell. I bought 2-10lb weights. It was funny when the girl working at Walmart could barely lift them:)}( I also got a few strange looks from a couple of guys when I was trying on weight lifting gloves-kind of like "what's she doing?"

Good Evening Ladies: I taught my 'head banger' Pump class today which was a lot of good work and fun; it got our feet tapping and our heads nodding. I saw a lot of teeth today, smiles and grimaces:D }( Music adds so much to a workout. Can't wait to find out what the music for Hardcore is.

Too bad you couldn't shake your cold Sandra; you're quite the trooper going ahead with MIS. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Boy Annette those tummy troubles are really hanging in, your proactive approach is bound to help resolve it very soon. Hang in there. :)

Gotta go watch Survivor with the Kiddies!!

Sandra...ok, just finished SJP and the verdict.....OMG I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT:7 :7 !! Oh, and did I mention that I love it??? LOL....it was SOOOOOOO much fun and yes I was singing right along with a lot of the songs!!! You are soo right, singing along to Breakfast at Tiffany's really does help with those crazy lunges:D }( ! Oh I am soo glad I listened to everyone's suggestion to buy this DVD...now I can't wait to try all the premixes...woo hooo:7!!

Wendy, we'd love for you to join us!! Did you get your entire barbell set from Walmart?? If so can you tell me the brand? I'm wondering if it's the same one that Cathe used in IS i believe. I use dumbbells but I want the barbell too. Oh I hear ya when it comes to getting funny looks.....you should have seen the potbellied middle aged men look at me when I went to buy my 15lb dumbbells from Walmart this summer....it really was priceless}( ! Let me know how you like S&H!!

Gotta run, I am starving after this workout!!!
