Attention Cathe Live Subscribers:

This Thursday, March 12th at 9:15am EST, we will be doing "Cardio Core Circuit" Live. We will follow the format of my Cardio Core Circuit DVD however we will be trading out/adding in some exercises. The format consists of a warm up, 5 total rounds and a cool down/stretch. Each round has three cardio drills (that get repeated) and then one core exercise.

A Fitness Mat

A Set of 10 lb Dumbbells
 
Too funny I was just looking at this DVD this morning and was thinking about doing it in the next few days. I have not looked at this dvd in a couple of years. Weird coincidence!
 
Reports from survivors (assuming there are any)?

This was a fantastic workout, MomInVT. Great cardio with straight forward moves that got my heart rate "up there." The core add-ons at the end of each cardio circuit were done standing with weights and at the end, Cathe tacked on all the core exercises. I felt invigorated and energized when I was done. You know the feeling where you've worked out hard enough to get some true benefits, but you haven't wiped yourself out completely? This is one of those workouts.
 
Thanks for the great review, Bonnie! Definitely know what you mean about that sweet spot where you've worked hard but not too hard. Sound like a winner -- can't wait to try it in the next day or two!

Just did this one this morning and it was fun and went by fast. I found round 5 the hardest because of the burpees, my least favorite thing to do, but there are only 10 each round, so manageable. Hope Cathe does more like this one and the Solid Cardio plus HiiT, my other fav. cardio from live.
 
Agree with Firemedic and Bonnie - great workout. I'd been away for the weekend, and was really looking forward to doing this on my return. Sometimes the Cathe Lives are a bit gentler than the dvds, as the rests can be a little more lenient, but this one really built up! Cathe was instructing and was mean with the rests towards the end!!! LOVED it!
 
I was exactly the same - didn't feel it at the time - in fact I thought that the core work wouldn't have any effect...but it must have done what it was supposed to do!
