Jackie – Oh, it’s nice to have high calorie days for that reason! Glad you weren’t hungry. It’s funny how some days are just tougher than others to stay on track. Oh yeah, DD15 BETTER call mom daily – or mom will call her. That’s why she has a cell phone. :p Have fun with Absolute Kickboxing!

Cathy – Now I will admit that Carol from Tracy’s company was very underhanded and manipulative for no real reason – people do have the right to not like a workout. And her threats were insane. Tracy should have censured her, but I understand why Tracy did not. I’m still trying to figure out where this so called “heavy beat” is, and why, if we’re learning a move slowly, it’s supposed to be on the beat. I don’t understand why people are so thrown off about that. But, I guess I can totally tune out music while I’m concentrating. If it were step, that would be different as I rely on the 32 count to help me learn a routine. Wow – you did a nice killer workout!! A run, Kenpo + and your KB Mishmosh! Great job!

Gloria – I went to Whole Foods with 2 girls from work, then went to my house to eat it. I got a big old salad with nothing but healthy stuff. It was good! I’m stuffed!! Your shrimp sounds divine! Can I come over? Enjoy your walking rest day. Rest tomorrow for sure too – as you have the race! Go in strong and fresh.

Gloria :: Hey, as long as we keep ourselves amused, we're all right. :)...sorry about the costly hole in the radiator! That's a hard hit...How're you coming along with your book? I have not been in the mood for professional readings right now, but I need to get on it as I am returning to curriculum writing on Monday.

Christine :: I don't really know all the players involved, but it sounds like someone could use a little PR 101 refresher. I'm probably one who would not notice anything off beat, so it wouldn't be an issue for me, either. But with STS coming, I don't feel a need to invest in any other workouts for now. How's the back feeling?

Did anyone happen to see The Baby Borrowers last night?

Christine: Shrimp are on the marinade. Just thinking veggies as a side since I had a whole wheat bagel for breakfast and brown rice with spinach for lunch. Nice on the salad. I have never been to Whole Foods, but saw a 60 min. special on it. Saw that and Trader Joe's when I went to Scottsdale to visit Dh's and my dear friend. I am happy I rested today. :)

Cathy: Yes, I love goof ball movies. My favorites are Dodge Ball, Meet the Parents and the ALL time favorite is What about Bob. Sorry I didn't use italics, I am trying to be fast here. :) I know you will understand. ;-) This car has been a MAJOR hit to the budget. There will be no more downloads, dvds, etc. This girl will be living slim. LOL! At least now I can really justify NOT buying chips, even if they are on sale! Call me slacker on the book. I keep looking at it and thinking, I just don't feel like it. I better get my booty crackin' though, since time is fading fast. :)
 
Cathy - That's great that you'll be getting $$$ back. Every little bit helps. I have progressive lenses with bifocals. Thus, why I couldn't use them for the computer. I spent too much time trying to look through that particular are and causing the strain. My computer glasses aren't bifocals. I did get the no line bifocals. Good job on the workout! I like your Whatever I Feel Like I Wanna Do day. LOL!! Whatever works, right? What is The Baby Borrowers?

Gloria - Yes, OUCH on that radiator. Glad you found the problem though. A rest day is good before your big race. What time is the race? Hope it's cool. Quite a few Cheetahs doing races this weekend.

Christine - Think I may need to add some more good fats to my meals. I'll pick up an avocado tomorrow. They usually work well. I can tune out some workout music too. I do it all the time when I do Slim Series. Don't you just love a good ol' salad? Are you ready for the weekend?

Had a few minutes to check in with you ladies. Now, I have go get bills paid. x(

Hi Girls.

Well, DH has gone bowling and DS is down for the night so momma has some quiet time to catch up on personals before bed. :)

Lorie: Oooh have fun in Aruba! My mom went there years ago with my step-father and LOVED it. I'm sure it's changed some but she said it was one of the best vacations she ever went on. Second only to her trip with me to the Bahamas several years ago...We had a blast!:D ENJOY!

Cathy: AWESOME work out today!!! You go girl! }( Yup, I guess the secret is out alright. LOL Oh well. I couldn't hide it forever, right? :p

Christine: I am one who thought SZ was off beat though I am never nasty about it when I don't like a work out. There is no need for that. Were the VF'ers being nasty?? Is that why Carol lashed out the way she did? I agree that Carol's response was uncalled for....BAD PR for Tracey for sure. :-( Anyway, perhaps *I* am the one who's off beat as I always said I have no rythm anyway!:7

Shelly: I am so glad the septic inspection went off with flying colors. You and DH can rest easy now. The rest is a piece of cake! Well...until you move, ofcourse!;) Yes, we will definately have to pin down a GTG date and start planning. I'm looking forward to it. Don't know if Cathy will be able to join but I'd love to see her as well. :)

Carole: Yes, I agree. Doing weights first is probably easier. I still wouldn't do both though!:p

Jackie: Nice mish mosh you did today. You are so creative. I am not crazy about doing housework in general, trust me. It's just that sometimes I am really good about it and sometimes not. :7

Gloria: How long is your race? Looks like we'll be racing together as I have a 5 miler the same day! :)

So I hopped on the tm after my meeting this afternoon and did ITread 6/60 min outdoors. It was a good work out. I had planned on only doing half but the first half is not very intense so I wanted more. The 2nd half whooped my butt good. If I ever want a good 30 minute w/o I'll do the 2nd half of that one again for sure!}( Tomorrow it's back to the bells (full body)!

Guess I'm all caught up!
