Good morning, Mariángeles! :)

That sounds like a great mish-mosh of workouts...I may have to try that one myself, though not today...today it's either Step Blast of C&W Timesaver Step and Abs...can't make up my mind! Guess I'll have to decide once I get to the TV! Have a wonderful day! :)

Good morning....Stayfit....wow...you do some tough workouts!! Way to go...:)
I do agree that the reaction when giving a compliment is a great feeling. Ruth...I probably can last all year on that one compliment!! I am still grinning...:)

Annette....I cut out all dairy about 5 months ago. I was a huge Yogurt lover but when I made the choice to go vegetarian I had to give it up. I have tried alot of the soy products and most I like. Vanilla soymilk is good. I also found a soy cheese that isn't bad. Veggie Shreads. It does melt..:)...most every dairy product has a soy substitue and if that cures your problem then it is worth it. I will prayer for strength for you...:)

Susanz...Bootcamp is a great accomplishment....those terminater climbers kick a#!...:)

Wendy...sorry about the cramps...:(...birth control does seem to help. I've used Nuvaring for about 18 mos and have practically no cramps...

Sandra...spa day!!!! I am so very, very jealous...:+ you lucky girl.

I am doing P90X Yoga and a 6 mile run....have a great day ladies...:)...Carole

Hi all, and Thanks Carole for the encouragement. I will have to give some soy products a try.

I did PLB today.

Even after eating no dairy yesterday my weight was only down maybe a half a pound it was really discouraging.:-( I was hoping to see a bigger loss.

Anyway have a great day!!:) :D

Annette, the 8th Continent Light Soy milk and soy chocolate milk are absolutely fantastic. Even my kids love them!

ME today after 15 min on the bike -- still watching the Vita-Mix recipe guide. It was such a good investment to healthy eating.:)

Hi Ladies,

It's going to be ME and a 5-6 mile run for me this evening. Have a great day.

Josie

Hi Stayfit,

How do you use the music CD with your workouts? Do you mute the volume on the tv and play the CD on the stereo? How does that work? Don't you need to hear Cathe's cuing?

Curious,
Sandra

Good morning everyone,

Annette, I second Carole's recommendation on the vanilla soymilk. I'm curious about yogurt - I was under the impression that people sensitive to lactose could still eat yogurt because it does not have (much?) lactose in it. Is that not the case?

TerryMia what did you decide to do? I would pick Step Blast in a heartbeat because I love it, and because it was not part of a rotation I've been doing for the past four weeks, so I am missing it very much. It will definitely be on my schedule for next week!

Carole, what kind of yoga is the P90X? Does it focus on strength, stretching, flexibility, breathing? I really enjoy the flowing yoga - I think it's called Vinyasa. How long does it take you to do a 6 mile run?

I am 2 workouts away from finishing Cathe's January 2004 rotation, and I will be glad to leave it behind! The woman is a sadistic genius. My run yesterday was terrific, but the legs were feeling it this morning. So, what does she put on the bill? Why, PLB follwed by the KPC combos & abs premix! How many different ways can you say "ouch!"? I find the stability ball work in PLB to be awfully uncomfortable - I really, really don't like it. Maybe that means that I should do it more often x( I'm afraid my kicks in the KPC premix lacked much enthusiasm, but I did finish the workout quite drenched and exhausted, so I guess I worked as hard as I needed. Tomorrow I'm supposed to do IMAX2, and on Saturday (last day!), BootCamp! I may not be walking by Sunday.

Have a great day!
Sandra
-still smelling pretty from all the spa concoctions. Man, do I need to shower!

Thanks for all the suggestions for non-dairy milk, my problem isn't milk I actually hate milk, my problem is cheese, I LOVE cheese but unfortunately it doesn't like me anymore.:( I need a good cheese substitute and an ice cream substitute. Trying to do low carb with my dh doesn't help the situation since cheese is one thing you CAN have while low carbing. And now I can't even have that, sigh!!

I didn't even drink milk while I was pregnant, I stopped drinking it when my mother didn't make us drink it anymore. Does anybody have a brand of non-dairy cheese that they particularly like?

Thanks:D

Hi everyone,

Last night my husband was playing volleyball so I did HSTA again since I had no cramps -I gave it 100% and was dripping sweat - I love that!

Today was IMAX 1. Had to do it on 6" step because my knee felt a little strange - I've been stepping too much lately and didn't want to hurt it. Hopefully, my husband will go play vball again tonight so I can get in another workout - I need to work my abs.

I only seem to like the taste of chocolate soy milk. I mix Soy Slender (not as much flavor) with Soy Shake which is really sweet (both chocolate)so its the perfect combination. I drink skim milk because I just can't do soy vanilla milk - too "thick" for me.

YIPPEE - I got Bootcamp back from my friend today so terminator climbers here I come}(

Talk to you soon, Wendy

Morning all! Well...afternoon to most of you I'm sure,

Today is my DAY OFF...yippee!...so did MIS earlier...for some reason that workout just KILLS me! Then I did a step workout & later today will take Diana for her walk/run. The weather is beautiful so I am even enjoying running which I normally loathe. Won't last long though...supposed to be getting hot again tomorrow. Sigh!

Have a wonderful day/night!

Ruth:)

Mariangeles I'm interested in the CD you're using as I was thinking of getting it myself. I gather you like it? How do you use it?

Ruth:)

Excuse me if I have answer to later but I have been in a new comercial center in my city.I like the cd.It is awesome.I put off the volume in my television and put the music high.I was so excited when I listened the start of the first song side step .It is the song that announce the start of the dvd in the intensity series and everytime I play my dvd and listen it I smile knowing all is going to come later:sweat and happyness.I would like cathe would do more cd wih the music of the body blast for example. :) :)

Today I pulled out Rythmic Step. I just love this video. I only do it maybe once a month and I smile the whole way through. I also mowed my lawn which took 45 minutes and walked our Yellow Lab puppy,Ruby, for 40 minutes.
My hubby is gone on a business trip for 3 weeks so I'm squeezing in whatever I can when I'm not being wanted by the children(and puppy!):) Susan

Hi again everyone and good evening!! :) It's sooo much fun reading which workout everyone does for the day...really motivating! One of these days I'm going to attempt one of Cathe's rotations, but man!! My hat's off to those of you who actually follow one...they look TOUGH!! I do sometimes add on an extra workout (or part of one) if the mood strikes me, but not sure how I'd fare if I knew I HAD to...my rebellious nature kicking in, I guess...heehee!! I wound up doing Step Blast (knew I would, lol)...I just LOVE that workout...wondering when/if I'll ever get tired of it!!

All the soy products talk is very interesting! I've just started using soy milk myself and find the Silk Very Vanilla to be really tasty! Lately, I've been adding it to my oatmeal in the morning, along with strawberries, 1/2 a banana, and a handful of walnuts...I feel like "I did good" after eating that! Anyway, I'm really starting to get addicted to the soy milk...good stuff! Hope everyone had a great day today...see ya tomorrow! :)
