Good morning. The weekend is near ¡Yuupi¡ and hardcore too:) :).Today is CK and kickbox of ctx series.I hope all have a great day.

Good morning Mariángeles...yes the weekend is coming!! Can't wait for Hardcore either..

Laurie..most of the P90X workouts are about 60 min with the exception of YogaX which is 90 min. I feel like one of the best investments I have ever made...you also got in a very good workout yesterday!

Dutchie...I agree with Wendy as I know dogs have a keen sense of the jerks out there...

Mari...I would like to hear more about your elliptical trainer...I might have to get one!

It really is great hearing about all your workouts, gives me so many ideas.... }(

As for me....I did feel a little twinge in my achilles yesterday..:(..so I am not running today. I'll do a mish-mosh of Nordic and step and then P90X Legs & Back....enjoy the workouts...:)...Carole

Mariángeles, you love that CK/Kickbox combo, don't you? I may have to try that some time!

Carole, good idea on taking a break today. Will the P90X Legs not also stress the achilles tendon? I hope you're back running really soon!

Laurie, that was a demon workout yesterday! Phew!

I did SH Legs & Shoulders, followed by PLB stability ball work. Know what? That stability ball work doesn't feel so hard when it isn't preceded by PLB! It has long been my nemesis, maybe because I lift very heavy with PLB, so my legs are truly burnt by time I get to it. I'm sure I'll be feeling it all tomorrow. I always miss it when I don't do some kind of cardio. I was going to do PowerMax tomorrow, but I think I might want to kick it up a notch; maybe do StepWorks. Hmmmm......

Have a great day, everyone!
Sandra

Hallo ladies,

today was Circuit Max. I love that workout, it's one of my alltime favourites for some reason. I know some people don't care for the compound weight stuff, but I really think of it more like "an extension of cardio", that gives a nice little warm-up for the muscles. Also, I try to really concentrate on my form and posture when doing the moves, so I think it develops overall bodyawareness and balance. But mainly I love it because it's such a great cardioworkout, and it's just so varied I never have time to get bored with one thing. And lastly, it actually burns more calories than a lot of plain cardios according to my HRM...;))) which is always a nice plus...;))

Oh, a fun "Cathe-phrase" from the workout; at the last cardioportion she says "feels good" after some lunges, and then she growles in a low voice "Who said that?"... I love that one...:))))

Anyway, enough said, hope you all have a good day,

Maria

I did Slow and Heavy Triceps today along with CTX Step and Intervals and abs off of Power Circuit. :7

Looks like everybody is working out hard!!!:) :D

Have a great day!!:D

Sandra....no, about the only thing that stresses my achilles is high impact. I truly believe for me it will always be a chronic injury...:(...I did some nordic, plyo and step besides P90X Legs & Back and had no pain at all....and a very nice workout...:)...Carole

Hey All!! Thanks for the info Carole, hope your achilles feels better soon. My curiosity about P90X is increasing and from reading the boards people have had great results.

I really did work hard yesterday, thanks all for your encouragement. I was interrupted mid way by a handyman who came to do some work on my eavestroughs, he was quite taken aback at the sight of the sweaty half dressed woman greeting him. He commented (unthreateningly) that I looked very fit and must work hard, I appreciated the comment very much, I do love to work hard!}(

Today I taught BodyPump and lifted heavy. My participants worked hard and had fun too. Bicep track was "Walk this Way", Such a fun and motivating song, I've loved it since I was 14 (learned the words to it in grade 9 Math, won't tell you what my math mark was though:p ) My biceps feel very well worked, I love DOMS in my arms, weird but true.

Enjoy your day and your workouts!!

Take Care
Laurie:)

Yes, I love this combo.I feel I am stronger and powerfull after do it and ,of course, tired too.

Mariángeles a spanish terminator junkie.:) :)

Carole, the main reason that I just love the elliptical so much is that it is like running -- without the impact! I'd never thought that it could be possible. My hr is as high as when I run. I can do hills, sprints, or just steady run etc with no impact. My hip is delighted! I am so happy that we bought this. What took me so long...
I actually spent another 30 min on it today, plus ME upperbody.

If you are injured a lot w/ Achilles it would be a very good alternative, since it is really almost like running. I tought the Nordic was "almost running" but it's really not in comperison to the elliptical.

Here is a photo of my baby:

I don't use the handle bars. I just move my arms like when I run.

Hi everyone,

This morning I did Step Blast. Everytime I do it the workout just gets better :)

My weight has been creeping up so I really need to start watching my diet better:eek: x(

Have a great night everyone!
Wendy

Good evening everyone!! Yes I can't wait for the Harcore either:). I didn't check in yesterday but here is what I did: Shoulders from the Pyramid and 2 sections of the S&H and that was it. Today I did Legs premix from the HSTA but I went back after each set to make it 2 sets and increase the barbell to 50lbs since I was pausing and taking a minute brake but I didn't do 2 sets for the step ups just did them the normal way then follow by cardio only from Bootcamp. My legs are starting to feel it}(. Well have a great night:).
