Three Things - December 7 05

Cathlete
There's been a lot of sadness on the board lately, so I thought I'd start one of these so we can all try to remember three great things to help us through the holidays, which can be SOOOOOOOOOO stressful.

1. Becky is coming for Christmas:)
2. Bobbi is posting again
3. My whole family is healthy and happy and I get to spend time with them at Christmas

1. There's a song in my heart and a Santa cap on my head.
2. There's no way I'll be stressd out by the Holidays this year.
3. Catheland is right where I left it and as wonderful as ever!

This is great, Shelley.

1. I've been going over the last 11 months and am thankful for so many friendships I've been blessed with this year.
2. My boys and I have this newfound sense of closeness and belonging after many extremely trying months.
3. My son is healthy, happy, and ready to face the rest of his life.

It is a gorgeous sunny day!
I have such a fabulous relationship with DH, I thank the universe for him every day!
I am so thankful I "got" into fitness. It has really changed my life. I am particularly happy that I stumbled onto Cathe and this site. The people here are so knowledgable, helpful, and inspiring.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOUUUUUU (my favorite holiday song off all time)

My cat stopped eating garland (and gacking it up)

I LOVE the holidays!! It's an excuse to SHOP!!!

Good idea, Shelley--thank you

1. The many wonderful and kind friends I've met on this forum.
2. My DH who is so kind and dear and puts up with me.
3. My remaining family and friends who are a gift that I treasure more and more each day.

Michele

P.S. Can I add my kitty who is cracking me up this minute. I have some holiday wreaths on the floor just waiting to be hung and he is curled up in the center of one of them---so cute!

I love this thread Shelley! Thanks!!!

I'm thankful for...

* My daughter and her wonderful, wonderful sense of humor. She's the light of my life.

* My friends and family who are there for me regardless. I'm so fortunate to have such a good set of people behind me.

* My new ride to and from work - my DH bought me a Mini Cooper (bright red) for Christmas, and I've been having fun zooming all over the place (fyi - the manuevers in The Italian Job - yeah, they can do that!)... (I'm also thankful I have not gotten a speeding ticket yet *knocks on wood*)
