Thoughts on Circuit Max

Any thoughts on this workout? I ordered the DVD with Cardio Kicks and haven't heard much on this workout. Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks

I like this DVD but especailly cardio kicks. Circuit max is good but I go heavier on the weights then Cathe and I also find the cardio fun. Not too much complex choreography which is the way I like my cardio :)

I LOVE Circuit Max. I do this workout three different ways:

1. As produced. (Doing the compound weight segments as-is.)
2. Eliminating the lower body movements and going heavy on the upper body.
3. Eliminating the upper body movements and going very heavy on the lower body.

It's a great workout and the cardio sections are really fun, too. By mixing up the weight segments like I do, I never seem to tire of this DVD!!

Plus, it features two hi/lo segments, two kickboxing segments, and two step segments.

I would like to see a "Circuit Max 2" someday!!

(Edited to fix spelling errors!)

I have found several uses for this dvd besides as is. Both are gre at workouts. I sometimes do Circuit Max and just pick up a barbell and do lower body moves and leave out the upper body. On Cardio Kicks you can go to the power drills and use them as an add on to another kickbox workout. I wish it was done where you can skip around more but those types of dvd's came later.

I'm with Diane Sue: I do Circuit Max with barbell squats, plie squats and lunges only; at the end of the 6th cardio/weight cycle I skip over to the C-Kicks Power Drills, bang those out (it feels really good to get in that upper body work at the end), then polish the whole thing off with some more squats/plies/lunges. That particular mish-mosh is hands-down the sweatiest, and the one that makes me pound down the ice water the most. And I get the willies if I don't do it at least once every three weeks.
