I'm here, I'm here! It's been busy here with my DS home from college. We went skiing Monday, everything that could go wrong, did. 1. We rented equipment for my DS and his GF on the way up, we got up there and had 2 left boots! Had to rent more boots, thankfully the first rental place gave us all our money back. Rentals at the slopes are twice what they are in the lower mountain towns. 2. We lost my DS16 on the slopes...he made wrong turn (we were all meeting up at a lodge), I told DH to go after him (he skiis fast) and I would go on to the lodge. They had to re-ride the same lift and take the same trails (minus wrong turn again), well the lift broke was closed and DH couldn't find DS (turns out DS was stuck on the lift). DH skiied around and couldn't find him, DS didn't take his cell phone because he didn't want to ruin his new one he bought (iPhone). Meanwhile, the lift closure screwed up my other DS and GF getting to the lodge too---there I sat for an hour, no food (DH had it in the backpack) and no money to buy anything and starving and worrying. DH got to lodge to eat and give us food while we waited to see if the ski patrol could find DS and get word to him. Nothing, so, DH went out again to find him and found him at the bottom....I guess that DS didn't know where we were meeting (he needs to listen better), at least he stayed put somewhere where we could find him. SKi patrol was worthless IMHO. That leads us to #3. We couldn't get out of the parking garage. It let us in without giving us a ticket but we needed ticket to get out to put in one of those automated things, no one answered on the intercom. There was a worker truck behind us wanting out too, so they used their pass card to get us out, so we ended up getting free parking. So all turned out ok in the end but Murphy's law totally snagged us!
Then Tuesday, DS and I went to dermatologist. It's only been 9 mths since I've been and I had 2 pre-cancerous spots they froze off my face (yea, I'll be looking pretty). I complained about my dried out cheeks, turns out I have roseacea and they gave me some RX for cream for the dryness, of course it does nothing for the redness that crops up. That's fine, the dryness was really bothering me, I had been putting ''Bag Balm" on it at night and my pillowcase would turn into a greasy mess!
Today is dental checkups, hopefully no surprises there. Then to Walmart. So I've been busy just spending time with my DS, it's nice that he likes to go out with me and I use the time to get him to his dental/dr visits since he won't go unless I force him!
I've taken 2 rest days this week, and have no urge even to do a little bit of cardio, but I need to today. I think I'll run for 30 min, spin for 15, then do abs. I think I'll delay starting Meso2 for another few days when thinks calm down (ie son goes back to college).
Andrea - just when I think I won't buy CLX someone says how great it is. Indecision, ugh!
Vilma - are you really seeing poundage lost? You are slim already! I can't budge this last 5 lbs and I'm thinking it just wants to stay.
Ronne - first no exercise, then baking? HOpefully you can get back on the wagon when the remodeling is done.
Mary - I'm a bit nervous about Meso 2 too. I'm no where near rested enough with all the running around I'm doing, so hopefully postponing starting for a few more days will be ok. I'm sure it will.
Hi's to everyone else, Kathryn, Murphy, and whomever else I missed.
