Those doing BFFM- I have a question about when to eat

So I'm starting BFFM NOW and I'm a little confused on when i should eat

he saids every 3 hours

I wake between 5:30-6:30 each morning with my 6 month old

I workout from 7:30-9pm each night

if I eat at 7am(can't do it before as I shower, feed the baby, prepare, exc...) then i'm eating at 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm and then would I have something AFTER I workout?

i dont want to eat after 4pm as I cramp when I workout and dont want to workout just to burn what i just ate

is this the schedule you would do?
 
That looks fine, as long as you have enough energy for your workouts. Also, being that your workout will come 3.5 hours after your last meaal, then the workout will be more "fasted" which Tom recommends for fat burn. Your body will be forced to pull from the "stored" stuff since nothing is "on deck".

My only concern with your schedule is that your post workout meal may be too close to bedtime. Tom suggests 2-3 hours before bedtime. I, personally, have seen the best results from 3 hours.

But...I know what it is like when you have kids...so do what you can, when you can!!!;-)
 
SUSAN- thats my concern. its either i dont workout "fasted" which I dont want to do because I cramp easily too- I miss my morning workouts

or I go to bed eating something RIGHT before. I usually workout, shower and straight to bed

but I go very light at night. usually egg whites or hard boiled eggs and a spoon or two of peanut butter just to get something in me but nothing too much and very light
