Hi all, I am going to try rock bottom. I love Cathe step workouts. I tape them off of fittv. I won't be able to do this rotation in its entirety because I do not own any videos. With that said I will have to modify with what is on the tv schedule. I will also have to start slow but I am willing to try.

I have one question though, what is an alternative exercise to the leg press? I hate the leg press. My heart rate goes sky high and I am so winded.:)
 
Hi jharris.... other can better inform you on alternate exercises for the leg press but I just wanted to say don't give up on the leg press entirely. Start slow with less reps and build up your endurance. It is an excellent exercise.
 
Also about the leg presses, you don't have to have your step as high as Cathe's. Start low, build up.

Hi:

I would modify like Melody suggested. You could just use your step without any risers and work from there; that is what I did when I first started. Now I can do legs presses with 2 steps, depending on what video I am doing. Just make sure that you exercise using good form. Also, stop when you get winded, pause the video, walk in place, don't stop moving completely however,as you may get lightheaded, start again when you catch your breathe. In time, you won't get as winded and you will be able to complete the set. Good luck! Dee:7
