This may seem like a silly question...

I just started the Slow and Heavy rotation from last May and I'm loving it!! Of course I'm only on day three but I really am looking forward to each workout. However, I'm realizing that this may not be the best rotation for my goals- to lose weight (I have about twenty pounds to lose altogether) and to tone. My silly question is- will the slow and heavy workout combined with clean eating help me to lose weight or do I need a rotation that focuses more on cardio and interval training? Also, should I increase my protein during this rotation? Thanks for any input!!

Good question, Jean. Hopefully, Cathe will be able to answer this one- or someone else from the educated crowd! My situation and goals are about the same as yours. I know it's important to use weights when trying to lose weight, because you don't want the weight loss to come from muscle. I don't know if endurance or strength is more effective- or both.
