My Congressman's case worker just called me & congratulated me on my court victory against GE money bank. I copied my Congressman AND my US Senator (who happens to be on the Senate Banking Committee ;-) ) when I sent the judgment to GE, asking them both to open a case file b/c I didn't think GE would honor the judgment so I'd probably be needing their help in the future.

She asked that once my account balance was at zero & closed I contact every media outlet at my disposal to get the word out to other folks who're being ripped off by these huge banks so they know that they do have recourse.

I might have the chance to actually make a difference! See, this is the crazy kind of crap that gets me all excited.
