This is a really great deal

20 pound medicine ball! I cant imagine. I'll have to stick with my 8 pounder. It is a good price though. .... 20 pounds, holy smokes.

I wanted to be able to do abs at home--I'm trying to restructure my workout schedule so I don't have to be at the gym as much. At the gym I use a 45 lb plate so I'm hoping the 20 lb med ball will work. I did Cathe's ab hits on Friday & while I found it to be a good workout, I've been doing abs w/weights for so long I didn't really feel it. So I'm gonna try Cathe's ab hits w/the 20 lb med ball.

Also I figured the med ball would be more versitile than a 45 lb plate. Maybe I'll wear it around my neck during IMAX3. :p

Since it's got handles on, it could also be used as a dumbbell for bicep curls, for example.

I wonder how much the shipping is? (That's usually what gets you when you order heavy items.)

It's $44.99 with S/H.

Darn, that IS a good deal. I want one (but I have nowhere to put it, and do I really "need" it? )

The "blemish" might insult my sense of aesthetics. Or what if it's green? Horrors!x(

I got my ball!

The "discoloration" on mine looks like it's been sitting in a warehouse for a while and needs a bath! I could scrape off some kind of yellowish discoloration (almost like sawdust? color from some paper?) I plan on washing it with Simple Green!

I love it! I used it for some crunches (not obliques though, I don't like to do weighted oblique work with more than around 2#). I like the handles. I like the fact that it's not "shifty" they way sand-filled med balls are. (I don't like the rather unatractive, IMO, TKO fitness label on it, but I'll live!;-) )

Thanks for posting about this, Maximus!

(Now where in the (@*$ am I going to put it!?)
