Thinking about removing breast implants

Janie,

Lots of Luck to you on the 24th!! I can't wait to get these silly bags out of me and be all natural again. Please post and let us know how the explant surgery goes and what your experience was like.

I'm sure you're going to feel such a relief. I have full D boobs and feel incredibly silly now that I'm reaching my 40s. What was I thinking putting them in? I can't change the past but I can make a positive change so I am doing my research and plan to explant some time in the fall before the holidays. Mine also hurt at times and I am fearful that I have a rupture. They don't last forever and I refuse to go through any more surgeries so that is why I feel better choosing the explant surgery so I will be done forever.

Keep positive and everything will work out great.

Trish

Trish,

The quote range I gave you was in reference to surgeon fees for lift & explant throughout the US.
5K sounds low for Dr. Ahn? Unless, that does not include the surgery room and anesthesia? Dr. Ahn charges are somewhere close to Dr. Feng's fees. If you have researched explanting, you'll know Feng's name.
I was never given a quote from Dr. Ahn's office. I did make an appointment for consult that I had to cancel. A woman on the explant forum was given a price range in the area of 8-10K for explant only from Dr. Ahn's nurse. Dr. Ahn is located in Manhattan so her fees will be higher than other areas of the country. All you can do is call her office for a price range. You'll have to consult in person to get a firm price/

Good luck Janie!!

Please keep us posted on your progress.
Have you been reading the explant forums for support? I hope so. The women on those sites are so warm and caring.
Sounds to me like you have a great surgeon too!

Thank you Trish and Fit44,

My doctor went to Harvard and I love the thought of that. Plus he is a very gentle and caring doctor. I trust him.

Yes, I don't think they were meant to last a life time as doctors then thought. They changed form, hurt (sometimes like a huge mosquitoe bite).

Thank you for your support and I'll let you know how it goes. I love giving experienced information to anyone who need it.

Janie

The idea is to die young as late as possible.
