The "Secret"

Stacy

Cathlete
Hi Cathe! I have what I hope will be a quick question, saying you're extremely busy right now is an understatement so I hope you can answer my question. I was comparing your physique in your recent Slow and Heavy series with your physique in older videos, CTX in particular. What have you changed in your workout routine to acquire the leaner, more defined look?? It has always been amazing to me when people like yourself are already great looking, and then somehow get even better....what's your "secret"??? I'm sure with someone like you whose life revolves around fitness it must involve more of a change in your current routine, eating habits than adding in more workouts.

Thanks,

Stacy

I'm bumping with a guess. Maybe part of the secret is patience, perseverence, logevity; including well-placed breaks and changes in routine.

Wouldn't it be awesome if she said "Corn chips, chocolate cake, and being as lazy as possible on the weekends."

RE: Jillybean, you're too funny!!

I'm sure the increased muscle mass in my arms is due to the breaking up of cold bars of chocolate and the bicep curl
movement of my hands to my mouth, he he!

RE: Ha!

My first video ever was Buns O' Steel or some O' Steel with Tamilee. Anyway, I remember her saying that the strongest muscle in the body is the jaw. And I thought, yeah, I work mine several times a day and rarely take a rest. The jaw is like the abs and can be worked every day, so I take full advantage of this. I take very few breaks while working my jaw and always keep my sets long and my reps frequent. I am to the jaw what Cory Everson is to shoulders and Mia Finnegan is to thighs. Oh yeah!
