The Ring

The Curse is about a couple of siblings that get attacked by a wearwolf, (sp) and what happens to them, and their friends after the attack. Once again, to me, it looks rentable, but like I said I'm wierd about my horror movies.
OH, had anyone seen The Boogyman? That looks really freaky.

I think Samara is one freaky little girl. I can't wait to sing The Ring 2.

I just saw Boogeyman last week. I really liked it a lot. It was actually a horror movie for once. It seems like every horror movie I go see always turns out to be a thriller. Hide and Seek & The Village had me thinking they were going to be horror movies, but they weren't. I was pretty dissapointed with those two.

I did see a preview for the remake of The Amytiville Horror. I hope it will be good. I am really looking forward to seeing it.

I also love scary movies. While I liked the The Ring, I also did not think it was scary at all. I watched The Grudge and loved it, but I love anything with Sara Michelle Gellar. Have you seen Gothika? It is pretty good also. There are a lot of scary movies coming out and I can't wait. They are my favorite.
 
That's a movie I didn't like - Gothika. Didn't scare me at all. How about some oldies but goodies? The Excorcist. The Shining. Halloween 1. The Omen movies. The recent stuff just doesn't cut it like the older stuff does. Except some of the Japanese originals... they really get me.

I just bought The Grudge. I really liked that too. OMG that bone cracking noise was in my head for about 3 days after I saw it..lol. I have Gothika too & like that also.

I love some of the older ones too. My faves would be Exorcist, The Entity, Amytiville Horror. I can go on and on. I love scary movies!

LIsa, you are so right. I couldn't sleep for weeks after seeing the Excorcist. The Omen was pretty horrifying too. Maybe it was the religous thing, but then again, Stephen King's Carrie & The Shining were also very scary.

Now, I did like The ing, JU-ON & the Eye, but to me, they were more creepy than scary. I don't care for slasher films.
