Remember when I posted some month's back about my concerns having this old freak across the street? I said renters don't last too long on my block and I was hoping he'd be gone by summer. The guy next door to him just told me he got evicted. Hallelujah!

He emptied the house but left every light upstairs on. So did another bunch of renters when they moved... Is that some sort code? Like an FU to the landlord...?

I do remember reading your prior posts about that guy. That is so scary.

That is odd about the lights. Perhaps an FU to the landlord, but it is also a waste of energy and bad for the environment too.

At least he is gone!

I'm especially glad he left when he did. It's starting to get warm outside and now the young women (with their very young children) next door can wear their swimsuits when they use their back yard swimming pool. He would have had full view of their back yard from his dining room window. I was sure if he didn't move before the heat set in it would be house bound all summer - and they don't have air conditioning. Misery averted.

Phew! What a relief.
