The Nutrition link

I was wondering if any of you have used the Nutrition manager from this site. I presently work with FitDay and I wanted to have some opinions from users how it compares. I know it goes a lot more in details as far as "grading" is concerned. I navigate easily in FitDay, I have entered many of my recipees and it's soo easy to find them and add them to my log. So is it worth the monthly fee?

I love Cathe's nutrition calculator. I'm on this site anyway so it's convenient. The program makes it very easy to adjust diet to get better nutrition. I've always been interested in eating healthier in addition to calories. I seem to be able to eat almost anything I want if I adjust some other aspect of diet. My normal eating was just 100-200 calories more on a normal day. (We won't talk about holidays) I put in what I want to eat and make adjustments in quantity or change a meal to make calories and nutrition work. It's even made eating out easier. I just decide what I can eat before we leave. I'm hoping the downloads will make the price worth it for the year. I would try it for $10. for the month, at least. You could print out any # of days meal plans during that month.

I had Cathe's nutrition site for a while and it's nice. I like the grading aspect and the fact that you can really watch your nutrition. I did revert back to Sparkpeople though, as I can do pretty much the same on Sparkpeople as I can on Cathe (you can choose to track nutrients, etc - there is no grade, however) and it's free.

I'm another one that has tried the Nutrition Manager (it's $10 for a month) and a long time user of Fitday.com as well... I also went back to the free tracker (well I bought the PC version, so now it's free forever) but I really didn't get that much difference from NM than I did from Fitday... My suggestion is that if you really want to try it, buy the one month version and give it a whirl... Some people really like it, so it is just a preference.

Thank you all for your comments and responses. I think I will try it for a month. Nothing really to loose>
Have a great "Fit" day everyone.

That's what I did... I learned some things (like totals for each of the different vitamins) and actually wrote those down to use... um... elsewhere... but for the $10 it was worth trying it.. who knows maybe you will really like it! Good luck!
