The Monday (Blah's) Check in

Good job kate! I ended up pulling out that workout last nite as well. I did the bootcamp and weights in the morning and did the weights from HIS and LIS. That night iw as bored and said what the heck, i should just complete my legs. Then after that I decided to do the KB.

Nothing today tho..working, too tired and my husband is home tonite and not working. yay. early bedtime tho..

So glad you get a break and can do things without the kids :) Enjoy!

Jen, Maybe you and DH can get some cardio in tonight together!!! We can't let Susan have ALL the fun!

I knew someone was talking about me!!! I agree..everyone should be having sex!:D
Kate-so glad you got a good workout in!

Jen-are you feeling any better??
Stephanie-great job on no funnel cakes! I just love Tenn..its so beautiful. Our freinds have about talked us into moving back. Do you know anything about Springfield? Friends DH is a nurse prat at the hospital there and thinking about moving. He used to work at Vanderbilt and wants my dh to apply there. I would move tomorrow! Im working on dh's resume tonight.

I have been cleaning and organzing things. Tomorrow I plan to clean out dd's closet and get ready for school clothes. She starts 2 weeks from today! I start in 3 weeks!

Its so freaking hot here..I about died going to check the mail! Stephanie, it was hot in Nashville, but I think we've got you beat!

Susan, I don't know anything about Springfield, but I wish you'd move to TN! I have known a few people who work/worked for Vanderbilt/Vanderbilt Medical Center. It's a great place to work because I believe that your kids can go to college either free or for reduced tuition. Isn't it funny how we wives are the resume-crafters?

Kate--Your afternoon sounds divine. Hope you have fun tonight!!

Jen--So DH is off work tonight, huh? I know which "max" you'll be doing tonight... ;) Enjoy it while you still can! I'm finding incontinent whale sex isn't quite as hot.

I spent a little while working with Oliver in his "getting ready for first grade workbook," but luckily, he already knows everything in the book. I was so afraid that he would have lost so much of what he learned over the summer, but I'm SO glad he didn't. I wanted to take a nap because for some reason I have a sore throat, but the boys are fighting and yelling at each other so it's a no-go on the nap. I'll be glad when school starts (next Monday) and they are separated during the day. They are getting sick of each other, and I'm quite frankly looking forward to a little peace during the day. Henry will be going to preschool two days a week, so I'll be all alone on Tuesdays and Thursdays for five hours until the baby comes. What will I do??? Anyway, I hope to get a workout in today if I can get the boys to sign a one-hour peace treaty. Hope you all have a great evening!! :)

Thanks for the encouragement and the prayers in my 2 week wait! It helps a lot! Temps are still rather low, but I'm only 4 days past ovulation, so hoping this week they sky rocket!

Got a great workout into night in the basement, some Cardio Kicks and Abs. Felt GREAT to sweat while exercising and not just standing outside! It was 96 today with a heat index of 104, YUCK!

Hi,
DH and I are busy this week planning/getting ready for our annual backyard party that will be this Saturday. DS has been great with peeing "like daddy", but not so great with pooping-you should have seen the one he did in his pants at the playground lastnight!!!
DH finished the dresser for the baby's room, so the room is almost done. The crib is up, the rocking chair is in. We just have to hang the valances and curtains, hang pictures, bring the dresser up and add a few baskets for books/toys and it's done. Oh, yeah, DH has to put crown moulding up too. I will post pics when it's finished.

Kate-I am carrying low too. I seriously feel that I can have this baby any day, but I am due in October (10/11). Today was one of those very tired days, and the baby was kicking the crap out of me. I hope you had fun on your date!

Stephanie-I am at that pee every 2 seconds phase too. Sometimes the baby kicks my bladder a certain way, and I get a sharp pain then I almost pee my pants. It's not an infection b/c I am familiar with those, but just annoying. Wow-I can't believe school starts for your boys next week. I am a first grade teacher, so if you ever need anything, let me know! I should be able to get into my classroom to set it up this Thursday. We start on 8/25. We are holding steady at 18 students/class so I am glad about that.

Jen #2-I hope you are feeling better. I give a 3rd vote for making sure you are not getting hungry-it makes morning (or any time of the day) sickness a million times worse.

Hi Anne, Hi Susan, Hi Candra, Hi Melanie, Hi Morris, Hi Kristan, Hi Lisa, Hi Trish, Hi Mikkia!

Welcome, Danielle (that's my sister-in-law's name).

Maggie-Where the heck are you? Are you having your baby???

-Jen

Hi everyone--I won't bother with personals tonight, since it's so late for most of you (except Lisa--hi Lisa).

I am not having my baby. I'm not even having many braxton-hicks. I've decided not to schedule an induction until after my due date--I'll ask for the 22nd or the 25th (if they don't do them over the weekend). I just don't have a peace about scheduling it before I'm due.

I've never been early, so I don't expect to be this time.

Maggie:)
38 weeks, 2 weeks to go--could ya'll speed up the clock?

Wow Maggie---I've never made it past 38 weeks, you are almost there!!

I just wanted to give you an update on my job situation. I took the job with KMart. It's 30 hr/week---which is perfect----but a pay decrease---which is not so perfect. I can move up to 40hrs/week if I wanted---but I'm so afraid of overdoing it, and would rather live with less and enjoy my family. I"ll start in about a week or so. I'm in process of hiring an attorney (Kristan---which you lived closer) to try to get some of my "bonus" cash from my last employer.

I'm not okay yet, in regards to m/c, but I WILL be okay. I'm working hard to lose the 10-lbs I gained (I've lost 2 already...if that can even count).

Anyway, that's my update. Not really a TTC or Preg category, so not quite sure where I fit in.

Susan, It's 11Pm here.....what are you up to??!?!!?!
Good luck to both of you with school coming up!

Stephanie - Incontinent whale sex?!?!? ROFLMBO!!!!!!!! You are too much!
Gina will be in 1st grade this year so gone all day too - boo hoo! I'm gonna miss her!
Isabel will be in preschool on MWF from 9-11:30. I'm dreading making the drive (even tho it's only 20 min. round trip) with a baby. I told Mike he is going to be doing a lot more to helpout with that this year!

Anne, it is HOT for you! Blech! Hope you had a nice evening. Great WO! I haven't done CK in a long time.

JenP- LOL at DS - sorry for the poop yuck. Glad the room is coming together. We bought trim for the chair rail tonight. I'm with you on baby kicking - I feel like I need an exorcism some days!! 18 students sounds great - not sure yet how many will be in Gina's class. I hope we like her teacher.

Maggie, Baby will come at the right time. (((hugs))))

Melanie, Glad you have the job thing worked out. Sleep well tonight. And you fit in here any old time you want.
