Hello lovelies! I have been a Cathe devotee for about four months now. I started out with some Hardcores and recently I went old school and bought the Pyramids.
I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed the differences in the facial expressions of the background exercisers, between the Hardcores and the Pyramids?
In the Hardcores the facial expressions are neutral for the most part, but in the Pyramids they are much more expressive! Particularly Brenda (I think?) up there in the back corner, she has some fantastic screwed-up grimaces of agony during the biceps or shoulders. I think she even shakes her head at one point, in that "HELP ME, I am going to die" kind of way. I find that so reassuring, as I often feel I am going to keel over too.
In the Hardcores everyone seems to be perfectly smiley and synchronised all the bloody time. I wonder if this was a conscious decision when producing the series? I must admit, when I bought the Pyramids I kind of liked seeing the moments of struggle; it makes me feel okay for not being able to do the workouts with robot precision
