The Glory of HATE - Mar 17

Hi Jen!!

Take it easy on that tummy would ya?? Two workouts in a day? You're making me feel like a lazy bum.

Those marathon bars sounds good. Anything remotely related to Snickers must be good, right?

OK, back to work! :( I know, but I have to get a little work done today... dang.

Hey haters!

I'm going to try to make this quick b/c I'm just taking a break from cleaning. DH inviteld his dad and stepmom over tonight (not sure if they are even stopping over) but I need to clean up before they get here. For some reason, they think they need to take their shoes off here and in this madhouse, you're better off leaving your shoes on (unless you like gray socks). LOL

Arista - good job on your weight loss!

Robin - enjoy your romantic dinner.

Michele - it was I that said to watch BM2 on while on eli.

Terri - I hope you get that new client. You must be GREAT at your job! Don't sweat not getting in 2 workouts a day. Just do what you can - I'm certain that you'll reach your goal.

Mariah - I can't get a lot of Cathe's moves. Sometimes I just do the basic step if I get confused (which is quite often).

Heather - OMG that was too funny about trying to scrub up a shadow. Too funny! I did forget to mention yesterday that I LOVE the GS workouts. BSB is my favorite Cathe workout ever - and that is straight up serious!!!

August - I'm so glad your friend is here. I was getting worried - who would've been to blame PC or DP????? Did you finish the song?

Shelley - how was the appt?

Jen - are you going to make that dr appt on MONDAY? Yes, you better call on MONDAY!!!!!

I suppose I better get back to my cleaning. Not sure if I'll get in a workout today or not. I'm feeling lazy. I didn't do one last night either. x(

Hey to everyone else!!!! Enjoy your day all!:+

Thank you all who appreciated my little quote this morning
i send them out every day to many many people but usually only those who want them and they are usually more 12 step program or self esteem related
so i did hesitate but i just loved that one
i worked today,, oh my i served 101 customers mostly spring breakers
now feet tired and smelling of pancakes im gonna jump in the shower and wait for my girlfriends to pick me up at 6
there is a street fair on beach street (Daytona Beach) and they have several bands on the street, vendors up and down, all the bars have green beer (I dont drink it) beer mugs that light up etc.. All the restaurants serve corned beef and cabbage and all the stores stay open late and have specials
It's free except for what you choose to spend and a better way to spend an evening with a few friends then to sit at your computer
only thing is i dont get to do my excersize
i wonder if carryig food to all those kids today counts

Ill check back in later

Hi everyone-I had a computer class today-I'm learning excel-we get through the whole day and I'm thinking that wasn't too bad and then realized I put my pie chart and graph on the same sheet (instead I should have made a new sheet)-so I missed that little itty bitty step that caused me not to have anything to print out...I'm fine with it-I'm so computer illiterate-I need more time to work with this stuff-everyone gets it the first time but me- anyways I'm dead tired, I have no idea why-I mean really tired-and I hav'nt checked my e-mail but I wouldn't doubt if my SIL didn't even acknowledge my sorry e-mail-if I've spoken too soon I'll eat my words-

Jen-I had a thougth re: your troubles with your tummy- Shelley mentioned (I think it was Shelley) that it might be food allergies and I'm no doctor I just play one on TV...but seriously could it be celiac's condition?-it has something to do with a gluten-free diet-I could be mixing it all up but if you google either of those words it should bring something up-hope you figure it out--

Hi to everyone else-low post count today-are we all tired?-bbl--deb

Good evening all, except August who is probably fast asleep, dreaming of baby DPs. Or baby PCs.

Wow, Mariah, that was quite a day. I hope all those rich, hungover kids tipped well. Enjoy the street fair. Have a green lemonade for me.

Dana, LOL about grey socks. At least your in-laws won't step in cat puke like at my and Michele's house.

Arista, great start on your slimming. Woomp-woomp.

Jen, you are an animal. I don't think I could do KPC with a Nyquil hangover. And you are doing 2 workouts? You go girl.

We got a lot of work done in the bedroom today. I'm hoping to finish up the painting tomarrow. Right now I'm simmering rice to go with roasted salmon and a nice bottle of Pinot Noir.

Have a nice relaxing evening. See you tomarrow.

Hi again-I just checked my e-mail and sure enough she didn't send me a response-that really irritates me-I'm thinking I should have let the previous e-mail stand and not have her husband delete it-I was being nice trying to make up even when I feel she was being selfish and she's just the type to hold a grudge and not get over it- I know it sounds like I'm not over it but I was willing to get past it when I sent that note last night-I even explained the reason for my "insanity" and there is a reason and no response---

I'm sorry to vent-I really am in a better mood today but this thing gets me going-I'm still pre-men., craving choc like you wouldn't believe and bone tired-thats a dangerous cocktail--why do some women like to play games-me I say what it is but here we go-at every family function I'll hear about I how I made HER so upset...

see ya--deb no it's def. George Costanza

Hello again haters. I have been doing stuff around the house most of the day, paying bills, filing, and all that stuff that I always put off!

I did do Mix It Up from Beachbody this afternoon so feeling good about getting 2 workouts in since Friday was a bad workout day.

Arista- The marathon bars are really good, you should try them. They make a lot of different kinds, the one I get is the Low Carb PB. If you try it you'll have to let me know what you think.

Dana- Ick, cleaning all day, fun stuff! Hey I wanted to tell you that I really think you'd enjoy the Slim Series by Debbie @ Beachbody. I remember you asking about them once, they are all really good. I talked Terri into getting them & I know she likes them. Also, you have to try the BBQ chicken lean cuisine brick oven pizza, it is so good! Have you ever tried the South Beach Diet pizzas? They are good also but have a little more fat in them but they are really high fiber & high protein so they fill you up.

Mariah- Holy cow! 101 cutomers! Wow, hopefully you made good tips? Spring break, lucky you! ;) I say carrying the food today counts as your workout, have fun at the street fair.

Deb->>I'm no doctor I just play one on TV...<< LOL!!!
I will be heading over to google to google celiac's condition as soon as I am done posting... I don't think I've ever heard of that. You can vent all you want here, don't apologize!!!

Robin- KPC was a little more challenging than usual with the Nyquil hangover. Glad to hear you got a ton done in the bedroom... wait did that come out right?? Sounds like you and DH have a nice evening planned.

Hello to everyone else, I will BBL!

Hi, guys,

Wow, I'm up and it's still the 17th on your clock!

I had a nice sleep, though I had a dream I was pregnant. LOL. Really, I did. In the dream my dream SO was telling me that he wanted me to tell him not to compete in the car race. So I told him that I wanted him to stop competing in the car race because he needed to start to think about the baby.

Yeah, well, I have no idea either, quite frankly. Aunt Flo is here, so I guess my brain was working on American time.

JEN - Wow, a Snickers protein bar. That can't be bad. Sorry you weren't able to sleep but I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. When is your doctor's appointment again?

ARISTA - Oh no! I can see the no having of conventional carbs and extra salt, but no dairy and no FRUIT on the two-day detox?! Sounds like a weight lifter's diet. Well, except that it's for only two days. And it didn't sound like those two days were he!!ish by any means. Thanks for writing it out. I love to read about those plans! I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress, so keep us up to date, please!

DANA - So did the in-laws make it over? I'm up early to help Oogi buy more Stalk, and then I'm out the door. I finished up as much as I could muster for my deadline tomorrow. Anyway, I guess it's all right.

MARIAH - You're probably sick of it, but personally, I would love to smell of pancakes. Wow, is it Spring break over there already?...On the activity level for work, I'd say yours is a fairly active one. You're on your feet, picking up relatively heavy things and going back and forth all over the place.

DEB - Hey, two charts on one page - very economical! Who needs it on two pages anyway? It's much easier to compare the pie and the graph that way anyway....oooh, pie....So your SIL didn't respond, eh? The baby. LOL. Well, I don't know what the situation was, so I guess I really can't comment too much (being that I AM the expert on who is wrong and whatnot). But at this point I vote for you. Except for the part where you say you have "insanity" issues. I mean, yes, you're insane in a "She's crazy insane!" kind of way, but not insand in a "She's got problems." kind of way.

ROBIN - The house projects sound like they are really coming along! Yeah! How did the roasted salmon turn out? I had salmon last night, too, by the way.

You guys are so wonderful! I just spent the ENTIRE day in class and well, it didn't go well. The class is about understanding relationships and most of today was spent on personality typing (Myers-Briggs, etc.) and I was always the blasted outcast! Oh well, I should be used to this by now. Anyway, back to all of you lovely people...I really needed a pick-me-up and this thread gave it to me. I can't tell you how much that means to me. Thank you for the humor! I hope y'all have an awesome evening. :)

By the way, the pretzel comment was from my favorite Seinfeld episode and is what I scream when *naughty* words are on the brink of flying out of my mouth. :D Sorry for the confusion! :p

Deb- This is a summary of what I found:

Celiac disease is a digestive condition triggered by consumption of the protein gluten, which is found in bread, pasta, cookies, pizza crust and many other foods containing wheat, barley or rye. Oats may contain gluten as well. When a person with celiac disease eats foods containing gluten, an immune reaction occurs in the small intestine, resulting in damage to the surface of the small intestine and an inability to absorb certain nutrients from food.

Some indications of malabsorption that may result from celiac disease include:

Weight loss
Diarrhea
Abdominal cramps, gas and bloating
General weakness
Foul-smelling or grayish stools that may be fatty or oily
Stunted growth (in children)
Osteoporosis

Celiac disease has no cure, but you can effectively manage the disease through changing your diet.

Well I for sure don't have the weight loss problem...although out of all of those that would be the one I'd like to have, LOL!
Going to read some more.

Kara- We must have posted at the same time. {{{{HUGS}}}}}
I am so sorry to hear your class didn't go well and I'm sure you are being too hard on yourself calling yourself a blasted outcast!!! Thanks for clarifying the pretzel comment, LOL! :)

Hi Kara- yes I had an interesting day at class too (see above)-I was the "stupid" one who kept asking questions of the very patient teacher-

Jen- try entering into google the following-National Digestive Disease Information Clearinghouse and then link to digestive diseases-I hope that helps-

I am staying home tonite with a glass(s) of moscato and some wheat thins & cheese-but what I really want is Robin's salmon-sounds nummy-

hubby went out-I didn't feel up for it-but he's coming back to watch some b-ball-

if it's not obvious I've not really eaten clean for the last couple of days and I'll give myself one more day and then get back with it--

Hiya!!

I've accomplished SQUAT today..no...not squats...I mean NOTHING:eek: .

Well, I take that back. I spent a lot of time planning out what I want to do in Italy. Of course, DH isn't here to mull it over with me, so he may have a totally different idea. I look at it this way -- this trip is around my birthday and, since I'll be 52, I'm planning a 2 week celebration, so what I say goes:p :D :D

I bought 3 DK Eyewitness Travel Guides for my sister today. I got her one for Italy in general, one for Rome, and another for Florence. She'll be so excited -- I can't wait until she gets them. She's over the moon about this trip!

Jen, I'm so relieved you're going to the doctor. If I may make a suggestion -- I wouldn't do too much research online. I can tell you as a nurse that a lot of what you find online isn't accurate, and your symptoms could fit with any number of diagnoses, causing fear and even more confusion. Don't get me wrong, I think it's good to be informed, but I'd be very careful about where you're getting your info from. Your doctor has already diagnosed you with IBS and your symptoms are consistent with that. Food allergies are possible as well, and that is something you should ask your doctor about at your next appointment. I think the most useful thing for you to do is write your questions down on a piece of paper and take it with you to the doctor so you don't forget to ask. Speech over....So, what's you think of WNTW last night:7

Kara -- we love you:*! You're no outcast and I'll smack anyone who says otherwise!!!

Arista, thanks for all the diet info. I'm so glad SOMEBODY is still eating chicken:p :7. You'll have to keep us informed of your progress.

Deb, I think you should just smack her. I have 3 sisters-in-law from hell and I've often been tempted to do just that. They're just nasty, selfish people and I have no patience for them. Your SIL sound much the same. Hey, I wonder if we're related by marriage - LMAO!

Mariah, I'd say running around waiting tables all day is definitely a workout! Have fun out with your friends tonight. Green beer -- ICK! How do people drink that stuff?

I'm having corned beef and cabbage tonight. I know, I know -- it's not CLEEEEEAN -- but I don't care! I like it and I'm gonna eat it:p

Robin, I cracked up at your remark about the cat puke on my floor. I must admit it was gross. I'm so impressed by your painting. My DH and I tried once to paint a walk-in closet together and we almost filed for divorce over it - LMAO, Trust me, you don't even want to know.

August, good morning!! It's nice to see you here so late...er...early-- LMAO! So, who's the father -- LMAO!!!!!!! Really, was it someone you recognized? OMG that is too funny!

Alright, I've got to go. I was planning to resume my Italian language lessons today and I need to heat up my dinner, too. G'night all:* :*

Hi Deb, Hmm...it sounds as though your class was as much fun as mine! OMG, I love Wheat Thins so much that when I was younger, I would consume an entire box daily! I don't buy them anymore! I sent the family to a hockey game without me and am enjoying the quiet. Ahhhhhhhhhh......isn't it splendid?

Jen, thanks for the kind words. I hope that you are able to get to the bottom of this issue soon. I have struggled with IBS, but exercise really helps it, although lately stress has made Gaviscon a dietary staple. Does dairy bother you? I know that it does me, but I live for cheese! Can you switch docs? I haven't found one here that I connect with, but in FL I had a guy that was into health (he competed in triathalons) and it made a world of difference. I think you said that your ovaries were tested? That was one of the first things they ruled out for me. Do you drink coffee? I don't drink it, but began eating these chocolate squares that contained coffee oil and it really caused me digestive pain. Maybe that bothers you? Sorry! I am going on and on, just thinking while I type. Anyway, I hope you feel better soon. I have been thinking about you!:)

evenin' haters...
It's a quite night back here at the ranch so I thought I'd hop online for a bit.

Deb: your advice to Jen sounds very good. You are a dear for helping her. And Happy Belated Birthday! Did you enjoy your day?

Jen: you may not have IBS anymore...? Definite time to go back to the doctor's office. We'll all be anxious to hear what the doc has to say. And remember, you have to be your strongest advocate if you're not happy with the diagnosis.

Mariah: your quote was lovely. Thank you for sharing. We all need reminding every now and again not to be so hard on ourselves. I think women are much harder on themselves than men. It goes along with Michele's posts a while ago to say something nice about ourselves every day. And YES! serving 101 customers counts today. Add college kids on top of that and it's a lesson in patience for sure!

August: Aunt Flow packed her bags just a few days ago. I love it when she leaves and can't wait until the day she never returns. I'm done with my child bearing years, so what's the point? You probably got the "11" due to November is the 11th month. And it's really no big deal anyways; LOL that you're anal about it!

Becky: I missed this but is there a recipe with the Cinnamon cake?

Michele: <You two need to stop eating Twinkies and get on the treadmill. Clearly you're fat and bitter, and no one will ever love you.> LMAO!! Thanks to you and August for correcting the birthday...

Heather: I thought of you in the grocery store today as I was passing the soy chips. "Heather is allergic to those" I said to myself. am I pathetic that I think of my cyber friend in the grocery store??!!

Robin: how did the painting go? Have a wonderful evening with DH. Mine is downstairs right now yelling "C'MON!! CATCH THE BALL!!" He's playing Madden and gets so riled up.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes on the potential new client. Say a prayer, too!:)

Arista: I knew you weren't an idiot!! Did you see my email I sent to you? How are the wedding plans? Set a date? Or did I miss that in the 1,000 posts over the past few days? Cathe is going to need a new server if we keep this up! Your detox sounds pretty good. Actually, the whole diet sounds good - keep us posted on your results.

Dana: Did you get your house cleaned before the in-laws came over?

DD needs me so good night to everyone!

Terri

Hi Terri, I think you and I were posting at the same time. I just had to come back and address this comment from your post:

>Heather: I thought of you in the grocery store today as I was passing the soy chips. "Heather is allergic to those" I said to myself. am I pathetic that I think of my cyber friend in the grocery store??!!

I DO THAT ALL THE TIME!! Sometimes I'll be in the middle of a project, or out with my DH and I'll see something that reminds me of one of my cyber friends and I'll smile or burst out laughing for seemingly no apparent reason. It's funny -- my DH will be all like, "...what are you smiling about?", and I'll say, "Oh, nothing":7

It really is true -- I take you girls with me every where I go:+

Hello Haters!

I'm sorry, but I'm so tired -
1. I can't do personnals, and
2. I can't even remember if I already posted here today, and
3. I can't even read ^^^ to check if I posted already.

This is what I have to say:
1. I didn't work out today and I don't give a damn.
2. Anyone who puts up with 101 hung over rich kids is a saint.
3. There are medications for people who clean as much as some of you guys do.:p
4. I am soooo glad I don't have to paint anything.
5. "B&G behind me" HA! That's a good one!
6. I agree with everything Michele says (pretty much all the time).
7. I firmly there is no such thing as a stupid question.

OK, I'm not even sure anything I just wrote makes sense, but hopefully I will be a little more with it in the AM.

Sweet dreams sweeties!

Would you have a talk with my darlin DH, please?

G'night every one:* :

I'm just stopping in to say....."you guys talk a lot".

AND....my birthdays April 1st (isn't THAT an appropriate date) and you may all celebrate by eating donuts, except for August who must promise to chase down the sweet potatoe man and eat one sweet potatoe in his presence while the two of you sing happy birthday to Briee.

Now I'll go back to the chin up site where I belong. (but waves to all you hater's - gotta love ya)

Briee (I ALSO agree with Michele all of the time too!!;) ;) )
