We watch Chevy Chase in Christams vacation every December and laugh our heads off! Sooo funny! I think one of the funniest parts is when he is running from the squirrel and the squirrel is actually on his back! http://bestsmileys.com/lol/1.gif

My favorite is Eurotrip. But my collection consists of ALL of the ADAM SANDLER DVDs (my fav is 50 First Dates), Road Trip, Grandma's Boy, Waiting, Christmas Vacation, Borat, Old School, and Office Space. :)

I still need to see some of these other movies mentioned here...glad I checked out this post!

Recently, there was a British movie called "Hot Fuzz" which was pretty hilarious.

This is Spinal Tap sends me into uncontrollable, side-splitting guffawing.

"Hairspray" by John Waters is hilarious and delightful all at once.
 
You've all mentioned some great ones. Another really dumb (sometimes the dumber the better for me, LOL!) hysterically funny one is "Joe Dirt" The Silence of the lamb spoof with Buffalo Bill-It puts the lotion on it's skin scene is hysterical.

HAHA! Joe Dirt! I forgot about that one too! Wow, I just realized that I have quite a bit of movie watching to do!

Joe Dirt is the weirdest, most ridiculously funny movie. I love David Spade. Another one of my favorites is Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. That movie is amazing!

Oh, and I forgot about Drop Dead Gorgeous. Kirsten Dunst and Kirstie Alley are amazing in that one!

Four weddings and a funeral.

Most movies other people think are funny (Knocked Up would be a prime candidate here) leave me unmoved or bore me silly with stupid slapstick. But 4 weddings is an original. In this house we air it several times a year and still love it.

On the other hand, you could try some great TV for black/dark humour (House, M.D.) or situational comedy (Ugly Betty). Better than most so-called comedy films any day!

Another vote for The Gods must be Crazy - the is the funniest movie I have ever seen.

I also like Zorro the Gayblade with George Hamilton.

And Shrek.
 
Yay! Zorro the Gayblade is great...I have it on DVD :) I also just got Young Frankenstein on DVD and now I just have to get the Great Race on DVD and life will be good :) Jack Lemmon is fantastic in The Great Race and plays two roles. Lots of fun!
 
I'm not a baseball fan at ALL, however the movie Fever Pitch is hysterical. It's really sweet, endearing and funny. All the characters have the best chemistry.
