Ha Ha I beat you all

Just me checking in and surprised not to have seen any posts already
ok I know, Its sunday and everyone is sleeping in
But what about August??

Arista I am so happy and envious of you that you are finding and eating plan that works for you . But what a wonderful goal you have. Please keep posting your eating and your progress it can serve as inspiration

Jen Im not sure what your problem is but i sure understand it. I suffered with similar, I may have mentioned for me it turns out to be Candida Albicans but thats something that Medical Doctors dont admit exists . But whatever it is, I hope you can find some relief

Had fun at the street fair but the temps dropped and it was freezing
we spent the last 2-3 hours sitting outside talking and listening to music and by the time we finally said thats it, We have to go home, My hands and feet were numb. I was so glad to get in my house and turn on the heat

OK im off to the shower and get ready for work
Have a great Sunday everyone

Morning, All
I think everyone is sleeping in in the town of Hatesville. They're saving up their energy for another week of wild posting...

Miami and freezing temps just don't seem to go hand in hand...what? Did it get to 60? DH and I were out and about yesterday and the temps hit around 40 and we saw people in shorts and t-shirts - only in MN. Once we get a hint of spring, people lose all sensibility. I think if we dress like spring, spring will come, even if it feels like winter.

Okay, time to make pancakes for the kiddos. Have a great day everyone!
Terri

Terri, I'm on my way to your house for breakfast!

I did sleep in a little later than usual today, and I would have slept even later if it weren't for kitty knocking things off of my nightstand. My kitty can be pretty persistent when he wants to be fed. x( :7

Mariah, I'm glad you had a good time last night. How cold did it get in FL last night? I used to have relatives in a little town near Daytona -- Palatka. Are you familiar with it? I had an aunt there but sadly, she passed away a couple of years ago. --Well, don't work too hard today.

BRIEE!!!!! Where have you been, stranger?

>>AND....my birthdays April 1st (isn't THAT an appropriate date)

Well, I can promise that I'll never forget your birthday! April 1 is also my mom's birthday, God rest her sweet soul, and I will be happy to eat an old fashioned glazed in your honor;) :). And yes, it IS appropriate:p

>>and you may all celebrate by eating donuts, except for August who must promise to chase down the sweet potatoe man and eat one sweet potatoe in his presence while the two of you sing happy birthday to Briee.

Would you believe August found a Krispy Kreme in Tokyo but hasn't been able to wait the 3 hours in line for an old fashioned glazed:eek:? Isn't that sad? She may have to settle for a sweet potato on your birthday -- lol!

Alright girls, I'm off to do my Cardio Coach Press Play workout. Hello to everyone else and if I don't make it back here again today, I'll see y'all tomorrow:*

Stopping in real quick before my workout... have been running errands all morning. Wanted to get them out of the way early so I can do things around the house later- still need to do organizing of many things I keep "putting off". Today is supposed to be only around 45 for a high & possible rain this afternoon so good afternoon for that kind of stuff. I don't know how I can manage to spend $200 at Meijer in a matter of like 30 minutes...UGH! I did get the new muscle & fitness, looks like a good issue.

Heading to do Drill Max now...was going to do the Cardio/Leg Blast Premix b/c it seems harder to me since my heart rate doesn't come down as much as it does when doing the original version. But then I was thinking most of the cardio I've done this week is steady rate...powerstrike 2, KPC, powerstrike 1 tomorrow... so I have decided to do DM as is so I get more "circuit" type workout today!

Mariah- Good morning, glad you had a good time at the fair. Thank you for the information, I for sure want to get this solved!

Terri- Good morning, are you enjoying your weekend off from workouts? Are you having trouble keeping the calories to around 1500? Pancakes sound so good!!!

Michelle- What are your plans for the day with DH being gone? How was CC today?

MSY- Your post last night cracked me up! I hope today is a better day for you. Did you work yesterday? I must have missed something, when were you around 101 snotty rich kids? And yes, I have been told many times before that they make things to help with my neat freak ways!!!

Okay, off to Drill Max then maybe tan then home to shower & eat lunch & check in on you guys! BBL.

Morning haters. My, my, my it is quiet in here.

Hi Briee. I don't know you but HI!!!! Any friend of Michele's is a keeper in my book!

Didn't August say she was working or doing something today (Sunday). Is it even Sunday in Tokyo??? What do I know? August are you here?!?!?! So in this dream of yours, who was the man? Inquiring minds want to know. I will have to check out the buns and thighs. Yeah, those roll overs are not for me. I don't want to offend the pilate lovers but, I am unsure of whether or not those are even real exercise Mari is having us do. Come on - have you taken notice of the names? I can't think of them right now off the top of my head but the seal, probably the bear, the snake. I feel so foolish doing them. Then grab your leg 2x. That would make a good stand up comic act. HA!!!

Terri - people in Pa are just as nuts as in MN with the shorts thing. The other day (I think it was Tuesday) I saw someone in shorts, tank top and flipflops. Then Saturday we got 12+ inches of snow. Pancakes sound yummy!

Mariah - OK, there is no way you were freezing in FL, just can't be! Ain't happening! }( I do envy you, so close to the beach. Heck if I want to go to the beach, the closest one is a 4 hour drive. I'm sure you do burn alot of calories just running around serving everyone. I know that when I worked at my parents restaurant, my feet would be killing me when I was finished.

Michele - guess your kitty wanted some company since he got you up so early. I wanted to sleep in this morning but Gannon got me up at 7:00. I was up late (well late for me, midnight) watching some home renovation show. I think it was called Sell This House and they were selling a house in Maine. Oh how I would love to go there. It looks beautiful. Don't think I could do a 9-hour drive with the kids though.

Deb aka Georgie Boy - you are too funny with you Excel story. August has a point though, you were saving paper. Are you enjoying your class? I use Excel at work but nothing too hard. You should see the spreadsheets that our businees manager uses. Holy moly there is no way that I could catch on. He creates all these formulas, etc. I am so lost. I can't believe that you SIL is like that. Sheesh! I don't have time for people like that. Too funny about your friends son giving the "bird" for the family picture. I'd a killed him! :p

Arista - WAZ UP!!! How are you doing following your plan today? For some reason, I really foul up on the weekends. Hope you are doing better. What's the weather in Wa? I'm assuming it is better then here. We were teased last week with the high 60's. I know you may have already posted this but I haven't been able to follow everything the last few days . . . are you having an outdoor wedding?

MSY - was it you the mentioned that there was a med for people who clean all the time? I hope you weren't referring to me. Ha! Because I am the furthest (is that a word?!?!?) from being a clean freak. Basically it seems like I clean all the time b/c I live with 3 pigs. Daddy piggy, brother piggy, and baby piggy. And they all act like piggies by not putting anything away, eating and leaving their crap all over, tracking dirt and mud throughout the house, etc. So I am forever picking up, moppy, vaccuming and doing laundry. Why just yesterday baby piggy, with all his strength, overturned my end table that had a full glass of iced tea on it. So I had to scrub the carpet. Sorry for the rant. I'm sure you go through it too with twins. I don't have girls so maybe girls are quite so "messy" as boys????

Heather - hi!!! Any interesting stories to tell us today? You crack me up.

Kara - why would you feel like an outcast? Don't you dare feel inferior to anyone, ya hear!?!?!

Robin - oooh, so you spent most of your weekend in the bedroom??? Ooh-la-la! LOL Seriously though, sounds like you got a lot accomplished.

Jen - so you do have a doctor's appt scheduled? I hope you get the answers you are looking for. I will have to try the BBQ chicken pizza. I still haven't checked out the BB website. Thanks for the workout recommendations. You should be in sales. LOL

Well, I didn't get in a workout yesterday. Inlaws came and stayed til 10:30. I wanted to get one in the morning but DH left to go out to his days to run the snow blower. Gabe was invited to a swimming party (indoor at the Y) so I have to take him to that. We have to go to Wal-Mart to get this kid a gift. The Y where they are having the party is nowhere near where we live, about 40 minutes so there goes my day.

I washed DH's wallet. x( He was not happy about it. I went to unload the washer and there was some money in there and I'm like, JACKPOT. Until I saw his wallet, then I'm like oh #$@! I knew he was leaving so I was going to hide it until he left and then dry it. HA! But he said to Gabe to go upstairs and get in out of his pants. Ya know, he has the cleanest wallet around. I've washede it at least 4x already. You would THINK that he would empty his pants. You would not think that I would check pockets before doing laundry.

The other day at work the DHL driver, who is a woman, brought in this huge package. She was carrying it in one hand by the handle and had her clipboard in the other. So we called technology and told them that their package was here and it took 2 men to carry it. How funny! Then the next day, another one of the same packages came, this time by FedEx, and that driver (MAN) brought it in on a cart. WIMPS!

This post is getting way too long.

Hi CoraDora Corrie, Diane and bean, Shelley-Belly-Bo-Belly-Banana-Fana-Fo-Felly-Shelley, the mia gals Jana & Kate and each and everyone of you that I hope I haven't forgotten.

I better go and get a shower and get ready for my exciting day. Wow, will you look at the time, it is almost 11:40! Yikes, I better get a move on!

Later haters!

Hello all,

Just popping in to say hi! And happy Sunday! STOP TALKING ABOUT DONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

Actually, I did good on my plan yesterday. I think I'm eating somewhere in the ballpark of 1600-1800 calories a day which is just enough so I don't eat my arm off.

Dana - I used to have trouble on the weekends when I worked outside of the house during the week. But since I work from home all the time, I just try to keep myself busy so I don't stray to the kitchen.

Michele - You'll never guess what I had on my floor this morning?? Cat puke! And you'll never guess what was under the puke?? ANTS!!!!!!!!

Argh. I so don't want an ant infestation. But thanks to Michele, now I know what to do. I'm not going to call an exterminator, but I think I'll try some natural ways of getting rid of them. And keeping the house clean (no puke on the floor) should keep them at bay. They're not in the kitchen (yet), thank goodness. They seriously make my skin crawl... And I'm not a wuss normally. :7

Mariah - Serving food to hungry kids all morning is certainly exercise... and I'm about as far away from you that i can get (and still be in the US), and we had the lower 60's yesterday too!! How weird. I'm glad you enjoyed it at least a little.

OK, I have a meeting in another town shortly that I have to prepare for... I hope you all have a great day!!

Good morning residents of Hatesville,

Well, I can't believe that two weeks have gone by already, but tomorrow DH leaves to go back up north for work. I haven't been posting as much because we have been hanging out together, trying to pretend that Monday was really far away :)

I see that the posts have slowed down for the past two days, thank goodness for those of us who are easily overwhelmed! I can't believe I am going to be the 4th post - too bad I don't have anything interesting to say!!!!!

Mariah - have a good day at work

Terri - do you eat the pancakes, or do you just make them for the kids? mmmmmm pancakes, mmmmmmm butter, mmmmmmmmmmmmm syrup

Michele - enjoy your workout

JEN - isn't it time for a rest day? Are you going to the doctor tomorrow? What is the absolutely worst thing that could happen if you just STOPPED doing STUFF and RELAXED for a day!!! Every time you post you are busy, busy, busy!!! I hardly know you and I worry about how hard it seems for you to relax. How about this - grab a cup of herbal tea, put on your comfiest pj's, put your hair in a pony tail, sit down in front of the computer and just type away. Just chat about nothing for awhile. Laugh at any silly responses we send. If you get bored, paint your toenails, give yourself an facial, run a steamy bath and read a good book (NOT Muscle & Fitness lady x( !!!) OHHHHH - how about a nap!!! A rainy afternoon is a great time for a nap!!! Let me know how it goes - I'm betting you totally ignore all my suggestions and keep organizing :)

Well, yesterday was MY rest day, so I am off to do BodyMax2 and try to get rid of the weight I have put on since DH has been home!!!

Check back later - hi to all the sleepy Haters who follow.

Corrie

edit - I see that Dana and Arista snuck in posts before me and I am now number 6.

Dana - LMAO about your family of piggies!!! I feel like I am ALWAYs picking up, sweeping, loading and unloading the dishwasher and preparing meals.

Arista - way to go with your eating. I do pretty good when DH is away, but I seem to be on constant "celebrate" mode when he is home and allow myself way too many treats. (Thus the 3 pounds I have gained this week - YIKES!!! - I'm sure it must be the PMS ;))
LOL about the cat puke/ant combo. At least you didn't step in it like I usually do as I stumble to the coffee pot in the morning.

is not an act but a habit.

Morning all- quiet this Sunday--

Briee-stop by anytime, you have my daughter's name (or she has yours)-

Msy-I hope you get some energy back-I felt that way yesterday-so tired-

Terri-I amde pancakes today too-

michele-thanks for giving me permission to just smack her(SIL)-just envisioning that scenario helps-and I agree with you about advice to Jen(from experience)-it's really easy to get caught up in what the internet "experts" say-so Jen take it all with a grain of salt-remember I only play a doctor on TV-now that will be $500 please (tee hee)-

Mariah-you know I've always wanted to try waitressing (seriously)-I'm looking for a job currently, should I check it out?-

Dana-I have been trying to get to Maine for years now (my mom grew up there) and the trips we have planned always get cancelled, please take me with you if you go-

Arista-what have you planned so far with the wedding?

Heather-I will clean something in your honor today-the suns not out yet so darn it no shadows to scrub-LOL-

Jen-I hear you on Meijer-I have limited my visits to that place in the last month or so and boy has it cut down on expenses-are you like me? every time I go there I think of things to buy that I don't need and have never wanted-I dislke that place intensely-

Corrie-I'm sorry to hear that your hubby has to go away to work-give him big smooches-

Diane-you mentioned your pants starting to not fit-brings back memories of when I was pregnant (before I had bought any maternity clothes) and I would use a rubber band to hold my pants together at the top-

Shelley-how did your DD appt. go yesterday for her eyes?do you guys have national health care thats paid for by the government-how does that work?-

Jana-still jetsetting all over the place?-

Kara-yes I had wheat thins and cheese and wine-yum, yum-one of my favorite meals-

Kate, Kate...hello? didn't someone by that name use to post here or am I losing it again??-LOL

Robin-I like painting-do you?-now your reminding me that I have to prime the walls of my daughter's bedroom with primer I bought 2 months a go-think it's too late for the primer?-ha, ha

August-I hope you got your song written-it's not about a group of women with issues that post on a fitness board......?

Becky-any more baking today?I made a spice cake for myself-I may share a little with the family-back to clean eating tomorrow-LOL-

I have had another epiphany (it's my word for the week)-ya all know I havn't worked out in 3 weeks and I sound so rational lately Ha-
, well duh-I have realized before that I am just one of those people that have to work out or the emo builds up and words fly out of my mouth-I just figured out that I need to get back to it like NOW-why didn't I see this before-I need to work off the steam thats building up-I'm so clueless sometimes-LOL-Georgie boy

Hey Dana- Actually I am in sales...but for mortgages, not workouts. I don't have an appoitment scheduled yet, I think I am going to call tomorrow. I have been feeling fine yesterday & today though so I am wondering if it isn't the food I'm eating during the week. Sounds like you have a busy day planned.

Arista- What was the meeting for? Oh no, ants at your place now. Ugh, that really stinks. Have you seen any that weren't right by the cat puke? Hopefully you won't see any more.

Corrie- That stinks that your DH has to leave again, that time did fly by, it seems like just the other day you were excited about him coming home. Yeah, I here you on the rest day...really I do. I am taking your advice & going to be a computer bum today!! Organizing can wait, right? And get this....I did take a 30 minute nap yesterday! I usually can't sleep during the day but my body must have really needed it yesterday. I may take another one today before I do my afternoon workout- it is going to be light w/o, maybe just floor thigh & glute work. Did you get BM2 done? How long will your DH be gone this time?

Deb- YES, that is exactly what I do. I went with a list of about 10 things I needed and ended up with a cart full of crap!!! For some reason that store brings it out in me, typically I am good about sticking to what I need. I don't go there very often either, I think today was the first time I've went there in about 2 months. My wallet is thanking me! I agree with you are the needing to workout. I know you have been eating super clean and having success with that, maybe just do lighter workouts than you normally do, that way you'll get the benefit of stress relief but still be able to stick to your clean eating. Just a thought.

Okay hello to everyone else. I need to figure out my workouts for this week, I know Powerstrike 1 is tomorrow, I'll BBL once I figure that out. :)

*runs in*

HI girls!!! It's crazy here and I don't have time to do any personals or anything but say hello and run out again!

Oh, btw, yes, Sophie needs glasses - we got two pairs and we pick them up on Tuesday and she's thrilled!

And no, it's not covered under our national health care, nor is it covered under my extended health care benefits through work, so bye-bye $300!!!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Off to the swimming pool, then home to run, then make dinner, get lunches and stuff made for tomorrow, get Sophie scrubbed and washed, trash organized and put out at the curb, laundry put away.

Oh boy. Can we have some more hours in this day, please?

Debfer
(I dont know your preferred name)
Hmm should you try waitressing
Well, Its not for everyone and although you dont need a college degree you do need certain traits and patience. And in general you have to love people, cause they sure do try your patience..
But, if you work in a good envirnment it is a way to make some money, and have cash daily, Of course you have to save that cash and not think Whoopie!!! look at all this money, lol because when the bills come in and your paycheck is about $20 you realize that the daily cash was your salary LOL

But it can be a great way to work part time, its not a job you take home with you, most of your co workers will be nutz i guarentee that, and you will meet a wide variety of people. You will have no health benefits no paid vacation or days off. You work damn hard for what you make But I love it
I waitressed for years, i managed restaurants and bars and even owned my own So I just cant see being out of the restaurant business no matter what
Well, i did get my real estate license and id love to trade waitressing for full time real estate when the market starts to pick up again

Hi haters.

Sorry, no time to read the above or chat. I spent the afternoon painting and still have 1 1/2 windows to do. I hate windows. (See, hate) I just finished stepping and am headed to pizza evening with friends. Maybe I'll catch up later. If not, see you all tomarrow.

Boy, I sure wish I could eat the pancakes, but sadly, they were just for the kids. I had egg whites and a whole wheat english muffin. I'm on this low calorie diet to see if I can't jump start this ol' bod. Calories are a mere 1300-1400 a day (Cindy Whitmarsh plan, Jen-do you have her booklet?). It's only day #3. I'm going to zig zag it a bit so tomorrow, I get 1500-1600 calories. It really sucks because even after I eat, I'm starving. Tomorrow, I'm stepping on the scale. It had better be lower!!

BTW, my daughter's birthday is April 1st as well. She loves it.

Dana: 12+ inches of snow!?! Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that! It's fine when it's November-February, but now, bring on the spring! Did you ever get your treadmill?

Corrie: how long will DH be gone? And BTW, Jen NEVER rests, not even when she's sick-tisk, tisk...

Time to make dinner...salmon and a salad with low fat dressing...ummmm....yummy.....

Terri

Shelley- That stinks that eye care isn't covered by your insurance. I know with mine it isn't covered under the regular insurance but they have coverage for just eye care. Sounds like you have had a very busy day!

Mariah- I agree with you about waitressing, I worked in a restaurant from 16-24 or 25 & loved it. You can't beat the cash. It was a fine dining place & all the employees were like family more than co-workers. It was hard to give up the job & I worked my current job & there on weekends for a while, I eventually had to quit though. That is really cool that you owned your own restaurant, where was that?

Robin- Have fun at the pizza party!

Terri- I think 1300-1400 calories sounds low, I do have Cindy's booklet- I need to pull it out & read it. You have to consider though her workout is 45 minutes total & that is with warm up & cool down so if you are doing an hour plus workout I would up the calories to 1500-1600, maybe do the lower calories on your rest days & high on the days you workout.... you'll have to let us know what the scale says tomorrow!

Workouts this week:

Monday - Powerstrike 1 & 30 minute Bun Shaper
Tuesday- Firm It Up
Wednesday- off day
Thursday- Kick Max
Friday-Cindy Whitmarsh UFB or Tone It Up and B&G floor glute work
Saturday- Drill Max
Sunday- Tear It Up or Powerstrike 2

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday.

You hater's are such a loving bunch (and funny too) - I just don't think you're appropriately named:7 :7 :7 :7 .

I've missed you Michele!!!! And I'm honored to share a birthday with your mom. I'll bet she was just as sweet as you!!

Dana...I like to throw around Michele's name when I post...always makes everyone like me just through association:7 :7 :7 :p . Hi to you too.

Georgie Boy, so your daughter's name is Brie? - I love the name! Here's the scoop...it's actually just my login (long story that I explained on the forum years ago). I tried for my real name (Lori) in a hundred different ways and was so frustrated so I tried dh's in a bunch of different ways - flip, I think I tried everything and it was taken - obviously too many people do Cathe. Had it not accepted Briee my next attempt would have been JUSTLETMEPOST#$%$$$##$%@@. I'm sure that would have gone over real well.

But now...I'd answer to briee in a large crowd - I've adapted to it:7 :7 :7

Have a great day hater's

Briee
