Hi to all.

Eating has been goodish today, (I would really like for ONCE, just Once, to say eating has been fantastic today! LOL) "That'll never happen", says the little devil, peering over my shoulder!:p Anyway I am not whining about it!

Todays workout was 60 mins cardio, (step assortment from 4DSHIS, Cardio Fusion, using the body max2 and lowimpact circuit step only)

Tommorrow/today will be gym style legs.

Amelia - I think you and I are doing the same debbie rotation, Muscle building and staying lean.

Shirl - forgive my ignorance, but i don't think we have soem dark chocolate chips here. What are they? I'm thinking dark chocolate potatoe chips??? Surley NOT!!

Becca - You are soooooo nearly there!!!! Well done. 4lbs to go! WOW!

Roxie - How are you doing? Sad sad day. I put my boy to sleep last year, broke my heart. And i stayed with him to the end, devastating.

Eliane - Kids are fantastic for burning off those calories. They are so cute when they "make up" "NO, MUm, This is How to play" (like baseball, basket ball, hide and seek etc..) You chase me around the bases. LOL :)

Jean - Our Aussie is a tri, she'll be one in July. When You say protective what did you mean? We don't know much about the breed at all. I think they are fairly popular in the States. So far shes perfect with the kids loves to be included digs merrily in the garden, (makes me cross that does!) steals the boots and shoes from the back door, chases her 'Tail" (what tail! but she still chases it) LOL Catches mice, really small ones, although my hubby reckons shes catching huge rats and mice with the cat over in the stables. (I'm yet to see any evidence of this, snigger snigger) So she has shown no sign of "protectiveness" BTW I would like for her to be protective, i just didn't think they were.

Sorry that last bit to jean was sooo long but I am very interested in these dogs.

Have a great day.

Andrea.

Good Morning Andrea, yes we are doing the same rotation:) how fun,we can cheer each other on!! Is this your first week doing it? Im excited to see some results(got to get a handle of my eating thoughx()LOL at the little devil perring over your shoulder...i may have one of those:+ but he only comes out at night...

Good Morning,

On tap for tonite is MM lower body depending on how I feel after this afternoon. I did KM timesaver last nite so I could watch all of the biggest loser, excited a female finally won and she looked great.

Andrea-my DH is trying to convince me the dog is getting better, but I listen to her breath and I am not convinced she still doesn't eat he says she nibbles on dog food outside don't know what to do.

Amelia-way to go on your wt loss I need to checkout that rotation I don't own all of cathes videos but i'm working on it.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning!

Just a quickie to say hello and WO on tap for today is PUB. I am fighting a nasty cold, so I'm glad I didn't have cardio on tap for today.

Roxie, didn't Ali look fantastic last night?!?!? I am so glad that she won! She really deserved it!

Have a great Wednesday all!

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did KPC Abs and the stability ball oblique work from Super Sets(from the time saver DVD)and CC#1 using my rebounder and High step. My CD player kept shutting off right at the last challenge, so I ended up doing that part twice.

My husband made a list of errands for me to do today, like I don't have enough things to do. :p So I have to get going.

BBL,
Elaine

Hi everyone. Tried to talk myself out of a WO this morning, but wound up doing the KPC cardio conditioning premix. Not long, but a good one! Tomorrow I have planned 4DS HIS in its entirety. Need to be sure I don't hit that snooze button too many times :p

Did pretty well on food yesterday. I've been tracking in both WW and SparkPeople and things look pretty good. Even had a lemon sorbet w/ raspberries @ Cold Stone that fit into the plan :9

Andrea, I'm only "goodish" on the food too. It's not that I CAN'T eat totally clean. It's that when I tell myself I can't have certain things I set myself up for a meltdown so I just don't do that anymore. I do the best I can. One of my good friends had 2 Australian shepherds that were VERY protective. They would "check" each bedroom @ night to be sure all the people were there and tended to try to herd us all together when we were outside. I once visited for 4 days or so and she said they looked for me for a week after I left.

Roxie, ((((HUGS)))) for you today, my friend.

Hi Amelia, Lori, Shirl, Jean and everyone else.

I've gotta scoot. Have a great day everyone!

Today was suppose to be an outdoor run, but when I took the dogs out for their walks, the wind was just too chilly. When I was done with their walks, I came in and jumped on the TM. I did Itread #13. It’s all about sprints so it really wore me out.

Amelia nice workout. That’s cool that you and Andrea are doing the same rotation.

Andrea I, yes Australian shepherds are known for being protected. They are very family oriented, but tend not to like strangers. Mine would bite at people’s feet if she thought they shouldn’t be around us. She also nipped the electric meter reader guy once so I watched her closely around others until I knew whether she liked them or not. The one we have now is a scaredy cat. She barks at strangers and other dogs, but she loves for people to come to the house and visit. Just don’t come unannounced especially though the back yard. LOL Here’s a link that tells about the breed. www.dogbreedinfo.com/australianshepherd.htm

Roxie, I loved it when Allie won. How they loose so much weight I’ll never know. As for the dog, are you feeding her anything special to try to get her to eat? Before our’s passed, we had to put her on plain chicken and then added in rice just to try and give her something she could keep down. Does she have an official diagnosis? Our’s really didn’t but her blood work came back showing liver problems so we took her to a specialist to see if she might have a liver tumor. She had breast cancer a year before that had been treated so we thought maybe it had metastasized to the liver, but they found no cancer. She was ok for a little while, then she started to go down hill and became really week. When she got to the point where the look in her face was “I don’t think I can do this anymore, we new it was time. If your dog hasn’t gotten to that point, keep trying to get her to eat something and watch her. If she improves, great you have some more time with her. If she continues to deteriorate, you’ll know when the time is right to help her by letting go. I think it is one of the hardest decision a pet owner must make. My thoughts go out to you and your DH.

Becca, hope you get over you cold soon. Have fun with PUB.

Elaine, nice ab workout. As for the cardio I guess your CD player wanted you to work out longer, so it made you do it twice. LOL

AndreaH glad you didn’t talk yourself out of a workout. The sorbet sounds wonderful. Yesterday, I caved in to some chocolates that someone brought in the office. They were little hersey kisses covered in a candy coating like M & M’s so they looked like colored chocolate chips. They would probably be really good in a cookie recipe. I’d never seen them before.

Hope Kath is having a wonderful time on her vacation.

Shirl and Lori, what are you up to today? Hello to anyone I missed. I’m very forgetful with names.

So who is going to try to go the road trip?

Jean

Jean, I'd love to try for one of the roadtrips, but I have so much work travel coming up that I think DH would flip if I wanted to take a trip like this. July would really be the only one that would work for me - kids start school right around the August one and that would be a disaster if I let DH handle it himself LOL.

Andrea, just tell him, "it's only 3 days". Or pack him and the kids up and let them do some sight seeing. Just kidding. But it would be great to finally meet you sometime after all our years of chatting.

Jean

Well I just wanted you all to know that we decided not to put the dog down yet. We called the vet and got some more antibiotics to see if that helps. I just don't like watching her struggle for every breath she takes. I didn't have a very good eating day was on the road checking my oxygen pts. so had to eat quick.

Jean- the vet told us not to feed her any human foods they think she has pancreatitis I know she had a heart murmur. Her liver levels were also elevated.

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I haven't checked back in when I said I would. I've been so tired lately. My body is telling me to rest, so I am. I'm still teaching my classes but not doing "my workouts". Maybe, I'll be up to it tomorrow; I hope so.

Roxie, I hope the antibiotics help your dog.

I'll talk to you all tomorrow; someone's here.

A friend in fitness,
Shirl
