Todays workout is abbs then GS b/s/b then a 30-45 min powerwalk with inclines on the treadie!

Andrea-How was your day yesterday? I did really good up until my DH starting eating a slice of leftover cake that i made on saturdayx(. I just HAD to go get me a pc toox(. Oh well,today is a new day...right;-) What book are you reading?

Roxie-I didn't know that you worked two jobs? What do you do,if you don't mind me asking? And Good job to you for your daughters accomplishments,congrats on her for graduating this year,thats awesome...i still have about eleven years before i have to go down that road.

Lorie-i too hate dealing with my hair,it usualy goes in a ponytail. Im still growing it out and im just not really sure what to do with it...i hardly ever wear it down! Its time for a trim this month. You use to cut hair right? How often am i suppose to get it cut if im trying to get it back to looking healthy? about two yrs ago i went through some emotional stuff with my sons birth and alot of my hair fell out,then dumb me used a flat iron on it so i kinda fried my poor,thin,very fine hair and im still trying to grow it out:-(.

Jean-Are you following a rotation? Ive got slow and heavy in a rotation that im starting today,but i don't have it :-( so i figured that i can just substitute it for gs legs or something! Iknow what you mean about having a link between sweating and getting a good workout! Sometimes i don't even break a sweat with some of the weight workouts?

ok,i think that covers our little group from yesterday! I guess Kath is still living it up in the ocean somewhere,or on the beach eating her big @ss salad,LOl;-) I am sure she's having a blast though bbl
 
Hey Gals!!!

I know I said that I wasn't doing any weights yesterday...well I lied:+ But it wasn't on purpose:) I ended up doing a 7 mile run, mixed in with BC cardio and LB. I left out the UB. I realized that my LB hadn't been worked in forever!!! Im thinking about doing the same thing today but with DM. We will see what happens.

Ameila** Im probably not a good one to ask. I had my hair cut off last May and didn't get it trimmed till about 5 weeks ago:eek: They don't make much money off of me...but I would think 6-8 weeks is the normal length of time. BUT if you are growing it out (like I was) i would just keep an eye out for split ends. I dont know what is going on with my hair, but at the top of my head there are little strains of hair everywhere. They don't stick up , they just blend in. Im wondering though if its new hair or if my ponytails were to tight and my hair broke off? Anywaysss.....

Hope everyone as a good day! No real plans here today...just drinking lots of coffee!!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday, but my "quiet" weekend turned into let's clean out the cupboards, closets and storage. The house has not recovered yet nor have I. I did not exercise yesterday and my eating was way off. D**M peanut m&m's.

Today is lower body & shoulders, step-boxing and core.

Menu will be clean and portions will be controlled. How's that for postive thinking! :)

God Morning,

Tonites workout is MM upper body and abs. Wasn't very good last week and the scale reflected that today, put back on the 3lbs I had lost. It is a new week time to regroup. We have come to the sad decision to put our friend of 10 years to sleep we can't watch her suffer anymore.

Amelia-during the week I work in a medical supply store 2 weekends a month and 2 nites a month I work in a place in the mall called street corner news they sell cigars, cigarettes, pop, chips, candy, ice cream you get the picture.

Lori-you need to give your muscles a rest girl I wish I had your drive.

Shirl-it sounds to me like you didn't need workout cleaning like you did is a workout. My weakness is twizzlers and DH keeps buying bags at a time.

Last nite DH fixed supper-brisket in bbq sauce, corn on the cob, potatoes in onion and cheese and blueberry muffins it was delis, but didn't help the diet. Have a good day everyone.
 
Hey girls,im done with my workout! I really worked my arms and back good}( they were shaking during those band burners}(}( then i did some abbs and finished with a 2mile powerwalk on the TM,with a nice incline.

shirl-oh i love those peanut m&m's,well actually anything that is chocolate im all for,LOL:+

Lori-I bet your getting in new growth! Great workout this morning,high fives!

Roxie-Your supper last night sounds delish! We had pot roast,it was good but i started it late in the crock pot so we didn't get to eat until like 7,so we were starving by then:+ . Im hoping to start in the medical fiel myself here,hopefully soon! Medical billing that is! have a great workout tonight!

Hi everyone. I had LIC cardio premix on the agenda this morning, but when it came time to do it I didn't want to. I did the step combos from BM2 instead. I realized that my issue is really w/ being bored w/ the indoor exercise. It's ALMOST light enough (and warm enough) in the mornings @ 5:45 to go out for a walk/run. Another week or two and I'm there!

Shirl, I cleaned yesterday instead of WO also. Did the kitchen desk & counter, a couple of overstuffed cabinets and a boatload of laundry. It helps, but the amount of clutter is still just OVERWHELMING!

Roxie, your dinner sounds yummy. We had orange roughy sauteed in a bit of butter & garlic w/ italian spices. I had some diced tomatoes on mine too (DH didn't). Brown rice & salad to round it out.

Hi for me its morning, fou you guys I think its probably somewhere near afternoon/night time.

I had a terrbile headache last night after work so I didn't get a workout in, the day before, I did chest and tris and abs.

My eating was o.k yesturday as I wasn't feeling too great BUT - my little one woke up demanding my attention and so on my way past the pantry, i stopped for a while! I did that twice during the night! }(

Lori, Amelia - I "have to" go to hairdressers every 6 or 7 weeks! Sometimes I go 5 weeks! Get a color and a trim/cut. Costs me a fortune! :)


Roxie - Wow you sure are BUSY!! Plus you run the house and make the meals etc... WOW!!

Shirl - Peanut m& ms, I go through phazes and at times I eat gallons and gallons of these little gems! I love lollies! :)

Andrea - How good are you? Getting outta bed that early and go exercise! I take about 2 hours to warm up just to the idea of "Its day time!" :)

Better go, I've got to "Think" about work and getting everyone out of bed and moving!

Good evening all (except Andrea, then good morning!)

I had a busy weekend so I wasn't around much. I did Power Hour on Saturday and took a scheduled rest day yesterday. Today I did.....drumroll please.....Imax2...the whole thing!!:) :) I had to modify some of those jumps, but I did it! That was my first time doing it all the way through. I was sweating buckets, but grinning ear to ear that I made it!

I am down a total of 13 lbs as of today. I have been doing the April '08 rotation and it is busting through my plateau. :D My skinny jeans are getting loose.

Amelia, congrats to your DD! How exciting for her and you. :) Great WO today, too! I love it when I get all shakey. really feels like I am doing something.

Lori, how exactly does one do weights on accident?!?!?:p You just can't stay away, can you?

Shirl, you had a busy weekend. If you are done at your house, you can come and work on mine!;) Sorry about the M&M's. Today's a new day though. How's it gone for you?

Roxie, sorry to hear that you are putting your puppy to sleep.;( ;( It sounds like you are making the right decision, though. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Andrea, I understand the urge to get outside. I was itchin' for a run today, but I couldn't fit it in to my schedule. I had to chase down a leotord and dance skirt for my dd's dance recital tonight, so I couldn't run when my babysitter was here. :-( It's supposed to be nice here for the rest of the week so I'm sure I will squeeze a run in somewhere.

Andrea (idream), I hope you are feeling better today. What's your WO plan?

Kath, if you peek in, I hope that you are enjoying the beach! I'm sure that you are having a great time!

Is anyone planning on going on the Road Trip? I would love to, but I'm not sure if it will work out with our schedule this summer.

Amelia, no I’m not doing a specific rotation. I’m wanting to increase strength so I figured I would try Slow & Heavy for 3 weeks. I’m not very good at sticking with rotations so I have to keep it as simple as possible. Good luck with the medical billing. Are you trying to work at a dr’s office or start it on your own?

Lorie, nice work out as usual. I understand about the hair thing, I’ve got a batch of hair by my bangs that is new growth and it is driving me crazy. I didn’t even know it was there until it was about an inch long. Now it sticks out when I’m not looking. LOL

Shirl, when your cabinets recover, do you want to come over and do mine? Bring the M&M’s.

Roxie, so sorry to her about your pet. Is the the dog who was sick a week or so back?

Andrea H., I know what you mean about being bored with the indoor stuff. I’m lucky enough that my neighborhood parkway is well lit, so my early moring jogs are done before the sun comes up. I still like to take the dog though for that safety feeling.

Andrea I, hope you have a good day at work. Hope that headache doesn’t come back.

Becca, great job on Imax2 and better yet great job on the 13 lbs. I haven’t done Imax 2 in a long time. When is your DD’s recital. I remembered my DD’s. Those were so much fun to watch.

As for the road trip. I’m interested. I would love to go again. I had so much fun on the previous ones.
