The cat came back!!!

Hello!

I'm so jazzed! I futzed around with my Havahart trap yesterday only to reallize the plate was not triggering the door to shut because there was a peach pit (!?!) jamming the mechanism!

So I reset the trap last night with yummy food and chicken strips I got specially from the deli and hung from the ceiling of the trap with clothes pins.

The kitty was back inside at 2 AM this morning! A little shaken up, but none the worse for wear.

In your opinion does a four day absence warrant a check-up at the vet? She just was at the vet for her yearly physical, so she's up to date on all shots, etc.
 
I am so happy for you!! I went through this back in December. Jazzy had escaped through the window and was soooooo relieved when she decided to come back two days later. She's very much a people kitty so I suspect she was missing her back rubs. I hugged her and kissed her as I suspected you did with your kitty ;-)

Not unless there's an obvious injury.
