The best shoes for aerobic workouts?

Hi Everyone

Doing Cathe workouts, I've started to notice a few aches and pains in my lower legs and thought it about time I bought some new trainers.

What brand/'model' of trainer/sneaker does everyone find the best for Cathe/aerobic workouts?

Thanks,
Andrea

I looooooove Nike Shox!! They're a little pricy, but worth it for me. I've always had aches and pains in my feet and have noticed that they have significantly decreased since I started wearing shox during workouts. After wearing them for about a month, I forgot to bring them in my gym bag and had to wear a pair of regular tennis shoes (Nike or Adidas, I think) and I noticed a MAJOR difference!! I don't think that I can ever go back! I've also had a few friends that do aerobics and jog say that they like New Balance, but I've never tried them personally.

I prefer Nike too. I have a pair of Shox, which are great, but I also have Nike running shoes which are like walking on clouds. I have feet problems (almost no arches at all) & I get really bad cramping in my feet & ankles when I run or do step. But I've found running shoes much more comfortable than regular aerobics shoes. And another thing, which might seem like a no-brainer--make sure you tie your laces tight! When your shoes are too loose you don't get the support your feet & ankles need.

I've also found it helpful to buy a half-size up, it allows room for the thicker athletic socks.
