I bought the gowear Fit thingie and have lost 5# so far. I'm trying to lose weight so when I turn fiddy in two months I won't be old AND fat. Hopefully I will be down another 12-18# by my birthday. It's really exciting to finally figure out how to lose weight.

Thanks to everyone who posted about the armband. I love this thing. And thanks to STS for a workout routine that I'm stickin to.

Oooooh!

Enablers! :D

I've been trying to resist, but I'm not doing a good job losing on my own (even though I'm trying to eat well and I'm working out!)...

Maybe I'll take another peek... so many people seem to think it's a worthwhile purchase!

Kathryn: Not to enable you some more, but I've been stuck with an extra 3-5 pounds since Christmas! It is officially GONE due to this little friend! It has been worth every penny. :)

Kathryn,

I'm going to enable.....
Remember, it is not just for fat loss. You can use it to help you maintain your loss, eat a surplus when you want to gain muscle. It's the perfect tool if you want to know exactly what you need to be doing with your calories. It's also a great motivator. I move more because of this little gadget!

It's worth every penny!!! You won't regret it:D:D

Oh for crying out loud! Why did I have to click on this thread -- LOL!!! :D

Well, I had officially decided to try without it! Great... My final hangup seems to be having to pay every month just to use it. If I could get the info off the watch, then so be it but as I understand it, you cannot.

See, Patti - I am wishy washy :p

And hello to Michele - are you going to do it?:D

Cynthia!! LOL!!!!! :p

Shanana Banana, I haven't done a lot of homework on this and I didn't realize you had to pay a monthly fee for the darn thing! How much is it? Is it a lot of work to enter your data? I'm notoriously bad about updating things like that. Heck, I don't remember the last time I checked off my completed workouts in the WM! If there's a lot of complicated or time consuming rigmarole involved then it may not be a good investment for me.

The enablers on here unknowningly pushed me to buy one last week and its great! It is really easy to use and the online software it really quite cool.

Its easy to log the food as well, which is important because it is one thing I hate to do because it always seems complicated and time consuming, but now its too easy to give myself the usual excuse. :)

Just a warning though, you will become addicted (in a good way) to trying to meet or exceed your goal numbers for the day. For example, I just looked and I have burned 2125 cal, taken 5569 steps, completed 50 min of moderate activity so far today...and I havent even worked out, its coming next... see addictive.... ;)

I don't get it....Sorry, but does one have to enter basic info into this gadget so that you know how much you need to burn in order to say...lose 2 lbs a week?
