I have been doing Cathe DVDs for strength training exclusively (aka no other type of strength training) since December. I just had a fitness assessment and got an excellent rating on strength. They measured using crunches and push-ups and I far exceeded what was "expected" for a woman on both. If I was still going to the gym, I know I wouldn't have done as well. The trainers there always under-estimated my capabilities because of my weight and assumed I needed something "easy".
