TGIF Checkin July28

Hi everyone -
I had my check in all typed up but my interenet connection dropped be just as I was about to hit post. Darn wireless!

Anyways - today was PLB. I'm supposed to do a 30 min cardio, but couldn't get it in this am. And now it's just too darn hot to think about. I have to get moving if I'm going to do it as I need to pick up DD and a friend at 5pm for some shopping. If I do cardio, that means I'll need a shower which means I've got to get it done soon.

Naw, I'll blow it off. Too hot plus I still need to do bills, run errands, etc. Tomorrow's another day.

Hey Kali,

Good luck on your hip xrays! one question is does your hip hurt after you exercise. Mine seems to hurt worse afterwards. I took off for five days and it didn't hurt,but got back to cardio and it started hurting.

I was just curious at what your symptoms were.

Hi Kim,

On mother's day I had a sharp pain in my knee and couldn't put any weight on it for a few minutes. Afterwards it felt ok so I started working out on it with no problems. Then a few weeks later it started bothering me. Not really hurting, but twinging and feeling funny. I bought a band I wear under my knee cap and that helped. I figured I'd just deal with it, but was nervous something could be wrong. So I got it xrayed. That weekend while waiting for the results, my leg actually hurt more when I was sitting down then when I worked out on it. And I realized that the pain was radiating down to my knee. My hip doesn't really hurt but my DH has hip problems and that's what happens to him. He feels it anywhere thruout his leg.

Sometimes it bothers me after working out, sometimes it's just stiff. I would say yes it does hurt more after working out but not until the next day especially if I walked on it. I have an Air walker, and tried that so there wouldn't be any impact on my legs, and found that hurt my hip a LOT.

When I was born my ball and socket joint wasn't together and I had to wear this "pillow" like a diaper to work it into place so I may have arthritis in it for all I know. Guess we'll both find out soon enough what's going on!

This was a rest day for me. I am so excited about Cathe’s announcement! :7 She is ready to start filming on my birthday! :7 I joined a 12-week challenge over at the Ya Yas to start training for the new workouts. Supersets kicked my butt yesterday. :eek: I definitely have a challenge before me.

Hi ladies,

Becky- I feel your pain I am up at 4:45 every morning for work.


Well today was grocery shopping day and my intentions were to come home and do sjp but I came home put the groceries away and cleaned up the house a little bit.

I have done nothing but eat all day. I can't stop chewing, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. }(

I FEEL your pain with the nothing but eating and chewing all day. I was supposed to run 3miles today and ended up going swimming with girlfriends and just noshing all day. I don't know what got into me today. I will now have to work my behind off tomorrow......errrr, I hate when I do this:(
