Terminators

Are the Terminators available on VHS or were they just a DVD special?

First of all, I really like all three.

But I wonder what most of you thought about the Gauntlet, Viper, and IMAX Extreme.

First, do you consider all three cardio workouts?

Second, which one is hardest for you?

I did the Gauntlet last night and thought I'd die by the seventh group of exercises.....

I like Imax extreme a lot. Do you feel it is a truly aerobic workout when the compound weights are added? I use 10 to 15 pounds instead of 8 pounds on the compound moves -- should I be using the 8 pounds (I loose my cardio heartrate with that light a weight) or is it OK to use heavier poundage? Does anybody else use heavier weight with the Compound Moves?

I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly.

I use 10 pounds for shoulders and biceps, 12 pounds for triceps, and 15 for the back moves.

Thanks,

Amy

Thanks,

Amy

Since my heart rate drops if I solely focus on upper body work during circuit training, I only do lower body work during the Terminators.

Imax Xtreme is the most cardio flavored. During the compound movements, I do squats, plies, or static lunges with a 45# bb. Sometimes I will do lunges off of the back of the step with 12# db, ala MIS.

My favorite is The Gauntlet. I do the Imax II interval as is, the Boot Camp lower body as is, then do lunges, squats, or plies during the C&W compound moves, and hit the "next" button on my remote to skip over the BC upper body segment and go right into the BC cardio segment. This keeps my heart rate elevated throughout the entire workout and the brief leg segments are enough to prepare my body for the next cardio blast.

The Viper I really change. I do the cardio as is, then the lower body segments that are included during (I believe) cycles 1 and 3 and skip all upper body work. While Cathe and crew is doing upper body work during cycles 2 and 4, I just do lunges, squats, etc. with a 45# bb to the music to keep my heart rate elevated. Sometimes I will just do the cardio sections of cycles 2 and 4 and then do the leg press premix from ME or else the BC lower body only premix afterward to get some more leg work. I wanted to program my DVD player to do the Power Hour squat segment during cycle 2 and the lunge segment during cycle 4, but I am too chicken.
