I am fairly new to Cathe (I am the one that posted I want to try Cathe but am scared!) I just wanted all newbies to know that I jumped in and ordered the Body Blast Serices and love it. I was able to learn all the steps on Step Blast after about four tries, I love it! Please don't be afraid to try Cathe! O.k. now I am wanting to expand my collection. I received an 8 lb medicine ball for x-mas and would like to use it with my tapes, I know it is used in the Intensity Series and I wanted to know if it is used often in Terminator. Since I have alot of strength options with my current series I was considering getting Boot Camp/Muscle Endurance and Cardio & Weights/IMax 2 but then I have read alot of praises about the Terminator DVD and it uses the medicine ball as well. Help me pick!! I also wanted to thank the people who assured me I would live if I tried Cathe, I am glad I took the leap. You Guys are great.

Sherry,

If you are wanting to add some more cardio to your collection, The terminator or IMAX 2/Cardio and Weights would be a good choice. The Terminator has good kick butt workouts that are circuit style. IMAX extreme does not have much weight work though. The medicine ball is also used some in this DVD. IMAX2 and Cardio and Weights does not use the med ball, but IMAX2 is a fun all cardio workout. BC/ME is mostly weights. They are all great. Maybe you should just order them all... :) The intensity series is absolutely one of the best series!

Let us know what you decide. :)

Thanks for your reply, would you pick the complete series over Terminator? I know one way or another I will have to step to the Pina Colada song! I do get worried that if I get too many dvd's would I be overwhelmed and not know how or when to use what. Do any of you do rotations where you use each series for one month say one month Body Blast, one month Intensity Series, one month CTX ect? Or perhaps with the variety I would be able to follow all of the posted rotations, I don't want to have the dilemna of standing in front of my collection spending 30 minutes debating over which one to do? I find myself already doing that with just the one series, because I love them all think I need to follow a rotation.

Hi Sherry, I would pick the complete Intensity series over Terminator. Terminator is a compilation of different segments from the Intensity series, so what you have is more of circuit-type workouts. The complete series will give you strength training (Pyramids), cardio (IMAX 2), circuits (C&W, Bootcamp) and endurance (ME).

As for rotations, these depend on your goals. I do a lot of strength training, so my rotations usually include the PS series and Pyramids, some S&H and MIS even though I have everything else Cathe made. Using one series for a month isn't a bad idea either. Check out the posted rotations. They are always made with some goal in mind. I always look at the patterns/splits/workout classifications in these rotations as I try to come up with my own.

Hope this helps.

I love the intensity series,. There are so great workouts on those DVD. I woud choice Intensity series over terminator. I love PUB and PLB you really work those muscles. I also like IMAX 2 your heart is really pumping. If you can manage it I say get both because terminator have great long workout that will challenge any season excerciser.
