Tell me about Cardio Kicks

Hi,

Cardio Kicks gets mentioned a lot in the kickboxing discussions I have read. Everyone seems to love it. Can somebody tell me about it? I like to hear real user experience before I buy.....I already have KP&C and Kickmax but I like variety...

I like Cardio Kicks a lot. It's kind of a cross between hi/low aerobics and kickboxing (compared to K,P&C which is more pure kickboxing). The first part is the hi/low/kickboxing, which is followed by awesome kicking and punching drills. Go ahead and pull out that credit card.

I just posted about Cardio Kicks in the other Kick Max thread I didn't see yours until now. Cardio Kicks is my favorite aero/kickboxing workout ever! The workout is just plain fun, Cathe's personality shines through, she's funny, she's tough, she's all over the place! The crew is larger (that includes two gorgeous and strong men) versus 3 people on KPC. I don't know why but when I see a larger crew I like it more. It makes me feel like I'm at a live class. The workout is really tough (still considered advanced), but not as tough as KPC, however I think Cardio Kicks is more fun to do than KPC. I like both, but I love Cardio Kicks.
 
Great! Isn't it great when you're expecting new workouts? I'm sending my order next week so I'll be getting my new DVDs in two weeks or so :)

I got my copy of CK/CM this week and did CK this AM. It was very good...the descriptions on the thread are accurate. It is a fun workout. The time FLEW BY! I'm glad I made the purchase. Please share your impressions when you receive it and actally do it.

Cardio Kicks was a workout that grew on me. At first, I didn't really like the fact that it had so much "non-kickboxing" cardio in, and that some of the moves take up a LOT of space if you do them as-is. I also am very picky about kickboxing technique of instructors (or anyone else I have to watch!) and in this one, Cathe and crew are definitely not as practiced as with later kickboxing workout.

After I used it a couple of times, I really enjoyed it, especially the drills and the kickbox combos. (And the so-so form of the crew just gave me something that I'm better at than them!) I also really like the music.

I definitely like it better than KM (though Cathe's form is perfect in that one!), but not as much as KPC.
