Hi everyone!

I was channel surfing today as I was about to take a nap and came a cross a special on QVC for Billy Blanks' TAE BO 2004 Set/5 Videos/DVDs w/ Weighted Balls for $23.63. I enjoyed the original Tae Bo and thought, "Wow, $30 for 5 DVD's, not bad!" Fearing that I'd forget to investigate this further after my nap, I picked up the phone and ordered. I know I will be able to return the set if I don't like the workouts, but I'm wondering if anyone has these and what you think of them.

Thanks!

Gina

HI Gina!!

Since we're both Catheites, I think you will be really disappointed in these! I bought these on a moment of weakness as well, and they are so easy! It goes so slow, he spends about half the time breaking the moves down. I barely broke a sweat doing any of them. When you finally do break a bit of a sweat, the workout is over!
I'm thinking maybe they will be good on an off day, or if I'm feeling not up to working out .

I was expecting the usual Tae Bo Advanced intensity, and these were even easier than his Basic workouts!!

The workouts aren't bad but they are definitely geared for Beginners, and Intermediates. I have no idea why Collage rated two of the DVD's on that set as Intermediate/Advanced-- I really disagree with that assessment.

I don't think you'll hate them, but be forewarned they are not intense at all.

Hope this helps! :)
